Cuna de Lobos

Is really sad to see Catalina Creel as a sexy character. The story lost its magic and mystic essence without Maria Rubio. Is even an insult seeing the first credit " Paz Vega as Catalina Creel" Cuna de Lobos was a successful story because of the original cast. (Diana Bracho, Gonzalo Vega, Alejandro Camacho ,Rebecca Jone and of course the queen MARIA RUBIO!)

Definitely this is not a remake of the 1986 Cuna de Lobos, but instead a story of a pretty (Paz Vega) cruel and evil Catalina Creel. Same characters but a very different story. I think is good, but very long.

I think this was a very good version, people keep asking for the impact the original had but we need to remember that times change and the impact in television was way more different in the 80s, people was more conservative and the old version came to innovate thrillers in telenovelas. Nowadays we are more and more difficult to impress, but overall i think this was a very good series that had a old-school ridiculous telenovela essence we all love, i personally was waiting for a good telenovela for a while and this totally did it for me, well done Paz!

Some novelas don't need remakes. This is one of them. Terrible actors. The original was memorable. This remake is forgettable. I don't know what episode I just came across but Catalina is barefoot on the yacht throwing her husband's medication overboard and while he's keeled over grabbing his arm (insinuating he's having a heart attack 🙄), she's screaming and spreading her legs in a ridiculous stance to throw. I'm over this bad acting.

People are too blinded by nostalgia. This series is good. Stop comparing it to the old one. It was never supposed to be a carbon copy of the original novela. I think the producers were pretty clear this was supposed to be its own thing.
