Kaiji: Fainaru gêmu

In the psychological thriller a temporary employee in Japan's post-Olympic slump, must contend with four complex games that could be the difference between fortune and disaster. The opening game in the movie, creates an exciting atmosphere, but the following tasks find it difficult to keep up. The screenplay does not introduce new twists, and the original tale lacks the incisiveness of its predecessors. In spite of this, the film's reflection on class and power gives it thematic weight, and Fujiwara's performance grounds the mayhem. It provides traditional thrills and closure for devoted followers.

"Kaiji: Final Game" is an Adventure movie and the third movie of the "Kaiji: The Ultimate Gambler" frnachise, in which we watch Kaiji participating on four different and very dangerous games Babel no Tou, Saigo no Shinpan, Dream Jump and Gold Janken.

When I watched this movie I had already watched the two previous movies of the franchise so, I knew what I was about to watch. I had also some expectations from this movie because I was a bit disappointed by the second movie. The plot was mostly the same with the previous two movies so, there was not anything new or anything that the audience could not predict if they have already watched the previous movies. The direction which was made for one more time by Tôya Satô followed the same steps with second movie and it was a bit more boring. To sum up, I have to say that "Kaiji: Final Game" is an entertaining movie but it has many differences with the first movie that I personally consider it the best of this franchise.

Part 1 is the best, part 2 still ok wasn't as good as part 1 but Kaiji the final game wasn't as bad either as I had expected. The games were quite interesting with the usual twists at the end. Overall an entertaining movie still and should not be missed by Kaiji fans. Tatsuya fujiwara as usual with his great acting in psychological movies was exceptional in this one too.
