LOLOLOOOOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! You will get the reference if you watch Deviant Love. I love movies like this so I've watched just about every Lifetime movie imaginable in the last few years. This one follows the usual script: handsome man stalks ...err...finds love with his target, a vulnerable mother. If you are expecting anything remotely better than an overly dramatic, terribly scripted, nonsensical movie then this is not for you. If you love cheesy movies that have predictable endings and make you cringe and laugh at the same time, this movie is for you. I have to admit the twist in this one was unexpected and gross lol. Get your snacks, wine and blanket, curl up on the couch and give your brain a rest for a couple of hours.

Cue "Sweet Home Alabama."

If you're reading this, you likely made the unfortunate decision to click this movie on Netflix. And for some reason that only God knows, the first twenty minutes did not deter you. You and I are the same. I love stalker films, but this was just *terrible*. There are so many directions the writer(s) could have taken, and they went for the absolute worst one. 3 stars for the acting prior to the final scene. I've never laughed so hard in my life.

I honestly don't know how someone could write this garbage. This movie is so beyond realistic, it's laughable. Don't even get me started on the acting. I get it, the script was awful beyond belief, but the acting was equally as bad; actually worse. None of it made sense.

Wow. I mean, wow. The acting was so bad from almost everyone, especially Gail O'Grady. I've seen her in other things & she wasn't bad but this-my god. Just horrible. The story was pretty bad too. It never really came together.

If bad acting has an award this one should win it twice.

I made an account just so I could say that the kid is way too old for the part, everyone has weird lips and the guy has conjunctivitis, literal conjunctivitis, what's with the one stars !?! Lol this is QUALITY trash, just wait until he throws out the green beans. CIA MANUAL whaaat

When the child actor is the best actor of the bunch, you know the acting is baaaad. and the story.. just so unbelieble and stupid. i get that it is a low budget movie, but for gods sake.. nothing in it makes sense. normal people aren't that dumb. gaaah.

Waste of an hour. Feels like a first year drama student's writing directing a movie she originally wrote in high school... no, it feels like a bad porn movie without the sex... lol seriously, the writer/actor that wrote this film has little to no talent, and would not have gotten this off the ground had she not been related to someone in the industry, and/or performing sexual favors for the financiers of this monstrosity... lol Puh-THETIC!!!!!

This is a garbage movie. I can't believe the writer, Director and producer and actors (bad bad acting) participated in this garbage and keep promoting that someone who is dealing with schizophrenia is bad and murderer. Stop stigmatize people with mental health illnesses!! That is so wrong!

The acting is really bad not only that but the story itself is horrible . I do not recommend this movie at all.

When the hot guy you met at the coffee shop three days ago shines you on with a screamingly obvious cock-and-bull story, and you believe him over the family you've known your entire life. ... No one needs penis that bad.

How I managed to sit through this entire movie is a mystery to me. Not finishing things is a personal bête noir, but I'm not usually persistent to the point masochism.

There's too much wrong here to cover in an IMDb review. DEVIANT LOVE gets two stars only because, sadly, there is so much worse out there.

I can't even with this movie. The acting is so terrible with the exception the the main character who kind of hold herself together. Kind of. Maybe.

Well, you know what ? I was glued to the entire movie, simply because , I have never seen anything quite like this before ! I have seen some bad, ridiculous , and far fetched ones, but this does stand out, to the point where I found myself enjoying it !

I was so amused by the main family , Mom , Dad ,and sister who had to have been one of the most interfering families that I have seen in a while, and also , they did not leave the house once during the entire movie, in fact , they just kind of stood around in the main hallway , or sat drinking wine , like hermits !

And as for the plotline itself, well , words do fail me, just bizarre , and the acting ? Up there with the worst of them !

The end scene was a sight to behold , watch out for that , so bad it's funny !

So , do I recommend it ? Hell Ya , has to be seen to be believed !

This movie is horrible! The worst acting I've ever seen with a bad story line! A WASTE OF TIME DON'T BOTHER TO WATCH!!!

First just to say it and move in the actor playing the son, Preston is far too old for the role. The actor is about 10 and acts like a 6 year old. Other than that for a B movie, it's entertaining enough. There are some leaps of logic to be sure, no omg twists or big reveals. The characters are broadly drawn especially the villain. A lot of time is spent with the family saying "Stop, Jamie, just stop" - it got on my nerves actually and the heroine is incredibly naive but her frustration at being "gaslighted" is well done. This movie is not terrible. It lacks the budget and gloss of an A list film but for the most part you could see a young Julia Roberts playing the role a as well - just with more shimmer and more sets.

Worse movie ..Can't believe the poor acting from main characters. Don't bother!

The problem with this movie is it doesn't have a well defined conflict. It changes directions, lacks realism, and introduces important things late.

This was a reasonable 1st draft. You just focus on getting the story down on paper, but I can't fathom how you wouldn't fix the glaring plot issues. It was a really cool idea for a movie, but the script needed more work.

I don't know what possessed me to keep watching this lifeless, plotless piece of garbage after the first 5 minutes. I urge you on all things holy not to make the same perilous mistake I made. I can never get those 90 minutes back and I believe this trash dumpster fire of a movie actually lowered my IQ . I'm afraid to watch any unknown movies on Netflix ever again. This movie had no redeeming qualities at all. There weren't even sex scenes. I repeat do not subject yourself to this catastrophe.
