...without write why. Sure, the minimalism, the clear- seductive simplicity of story, the acting, the wise storytelling , the music so...Brasilian are the good points but remains something, real significant, escaping to words. A young man in deppressed period. A stradal photographer. A love story and a guitar. And the fine art to build, in each detail, the emotion. Short, just beautiful.

Well, this was completely different from the description. OK, Gabriel wears a red jacket but it plays absolutely no part in the story. Tomás has, in fact, a block on composing and playing music. He has no difficulty in seeing the world properly. The storyline's as bad as the film.
A fortuitous throwaway remark gets Tomás playing the guitar again. Gabriel seems completely disinterested and is about to leave. Honestly, the film is at odds with itself. Gabriel then decides to stay.
I actually felt cheated as I was expecting clever cinematography after reading the synopsis. Instead we got a load of fuzzy lovey-doviness. Plain awful. The ending was of a degree of sacharinity that made me want to retch.
I can't recommend this in the slightest.
