This movie kinda pissed me off. The acts that set this event in motion seem to have been glossed over to push a narrative. The cop did what he was trained to do. With the facts he had and what he seen only 1 outcome was possible. I hope in real life the missing piece was held accountable for setting everything in motion. I'm trying not to give any spoilers here it's worth a watch.
When you train in those so call academies for 12 week and you call them police officers (in common sense societies they are train for a minim of 18 months to 3 years), when you need SWAT for a domestic dispute, when ....... your cities in 2020 looks like Fallujah and police looks like occupation force, then you have a problem. and I didn't even mention that instead of providing first aid the police officer was preoccupied to handcuff, Really? The problem is training, unions, insurances, local politicians and that is just the beginning, the so call defund the police is not the solution.
I found out this movie interesting until I notice that it's a hateful movie.
The white male is just punishing himself for something he didn't do by his fault.
That's a movie for all BLM supporters.
As a white men I just felt the racism aginst white people in this movie.

Powerful movie , realistic and retraces the reality police using sometimes unnecessary force and deadly action. The movie lacks better script , dialogue or something, I don't think it's the actors , could have been a great movie but still important to watch and glad I did.

Just finished watching this film, "Blindfire" and I must say that I haven't watched a good quality film which delivers an important message in a while and this is absolutely one of them. Worth it!
From the cinematography, to the actors/actresses, the location, down to the music, everything just looks so fantastically done. A lot of thought and hardwork was reflected on how good the film is and it truly did not disappoint. There's no dull moment and it's a crime-thriller film so it will put you in the edge of your seat.
The film also bravely tackles a rather sensitive ongoing issue about racial discrimination. People can easily have a mental bias towards a person of color and its a very timely thing to discuss openly so that people won't just make rash decisions and judgment towards anybody. The film teaches us how to have a sense of accountability in each actions we commit and to know that it has a corresponding consequence. But most of all, it instills in us that there is hope that a person can change for the better in the end.
I will give this film a rating of 10 out of 10, a definite must-watch for someone who loves to watch a drama, crime-thriller film with a good message at its core.

Blindfire is a film that starts a conversations about what accountability from law enforcement should look like in the future. A lot of very talented actors put together great performances to put an audience in the shoes of a cop who has killed an unarmed black man during a hostage call and is trying to understand how this happened. I hope audiences give the film a chance and watch it all the way through to understand the message and the films intention.

This movie was very well put together. It left you on the edge wondering how things were going to play out, but isn't what you would expect in the end. Great work by Mike Nell and crew!
This nail-biter thriller had me on the edge of my seat for practically the entire movie. The subject matter is very current and writer/director Mike Nell did a great job of presenting his story. The cast is very talented and performed their roles solidly. I definitely recommend people view this. It is very entertaining!

This is a must watch film that is extremely timely and a great example of an independent film.
Stellar cast performances with a twist and ending you might not suspect.
A great look at a subject matter that is very sensitive at the moment but can be a great conversation starter.
There is intrigue, crime and thriller aspects but the film also touches human emotion. I find this film to have a lot of integrity ... if you watch it until the end.
Congrats to all involved in the making of this film, everyone should watch it.
As you can see from the comments already posted this film is very polarizing but I believe it's super important. It provides hope for change in our society. Forget about the fact there might be some plot points that may not work and look at the bigger picture! For a small indie film ... this is great. Besides good production value, and great acting this is a story that should evoke conversation about what is happening in our world today and hopefully evoke some empathy for others all around.
Don't listen to the badgers and haters ... check this one out for yourselves.
I was touched and thought it is a must see!!

This is a very strong indie film with an eye opening message. Drama/thriller keeps you on the edge of your seat uncertain of what turn things will take. Very solid cast, well performed to deliver the story. Impressive debut for writer/director Mike Nell. Hats off to all involved for delivering on this project in times and subject matter of great importance to our communities and country. This is a must see, don't miss it! BIG applause for producing this story!
I don't know why it got such bad reviews. I loved this movie. Greatly figured out necessary circumstantial actions which may end up wrong. Worth watching. Ignore the adverse comments. There are many unanswered questions. What happened to the boys? Why FBI didn't intervene in the case?

After reading the very opposing reviews and ratings from 1/10 to 10/10 I needed to watch this movie, where the late Halyna Hutchins was the director of photography. I didn't know anything about the 2017 Wichita swatting and fatal shooting before I started this movie. I only found out about it after searching for it when I read that the movie was based on real events. When I started the movie, it had me from the first moment. I think it was very well acted and directed. It sure is no movie for people who need action from start to end plus tons of special effects. This movie is no such film, it is closer to reality and still so well entertaining, it's dramatic, it's gripping, and it's telling a real story. So it is a very important movie. I'll leave it to future audiences to judge wether the police officer is racisst or not. The movie leaves us this decision and I must say it is thought triggering and sure a good base to start discussions. Long story short: I really enjoyed watching it and I can only recommend it to those who look for good quality of the art of movies rather then for boom boom crash boom bang.
