This movie is very scary. I fully enjoyed every minute of it. The plot takes so many twists and turns, you will never be bored. It is sooo funny and whoever wrote and filmed it did a great job. I especially like some of the Canadian-specific jokes in the FD. I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun horror movie - watch it with a date! It seems to have some relationship-commentary woven into the characters' dialogue. But you won't be prepared for what happens...next! Overall, 10/10. ...............................................Hopefully you are not the type to get scared easily because the suspense in this film is almost unbearable.
I'll start by saying that this isn't mainstream standards, when the film gets started you can tell its low budget but shows a great deal of creativity and a degree of film-making skill, the dialog has some hilarious lines and is pretty good, the actors are not professionals but give fair performances and another really good thing about it, is that it doesn't have a predictable ending.
So try your luck with this film, it also good gore effects, a little timid but good, so give it a shot if you want see something smart and creative and remember its not mainstream but worth the effort and wouldn't mind seeing a possible forest of the dead 2.
6 out of 10.

Right from the beginning, it is obvious that this film is very low budget and the actors are not professionals (I don't think). I was worried. I considered just stopping it and mailing back the DVD.
But I kept it going and I have to say it was hilarious! And the gore was awesome. There were definitely some creative minds working on this one. I think that they did what they set out to do--I didn't see any real plot holes and there were some good creepy moments among the humor.
Some of the lines had me laughing out loud, especially with the two French guys.
Make another one. I will watch it!

- AnecdotesThe old house at the end of the film is actually two different houses. The exteriors were shot at a house in the woods of Carp, Ontario and the interiors were shot several miles away at a different house in the country. The two were then cut to look like the same house.
