I really like the show!! As a part of Greek Life, I can say that some things are over-exaggerated, but overall it's still pretty damn funny.

Rusty is a likable lead character, his roommate is HILARIOUS and the entire cast is entertaining in their own rights. I like that it focuses on individual situations as well as interpersonal relations with the organizations.

This show covers it all, and they do it without cursing or anything else that bad (how else could it be on ABC Family?).

My favorites are Cappie (of course), Rusty's roommate and pretty much all of Kappa Tau. This show is a great launch pad for them and I'm excited to see what doors this opens.

Please renew this show next summer, ABC Family. Like I said, love love LOVE it!!

I just recently stumbled upon this show when ABC family had an all day marathon before season 2 premiered. I remember seeing previews for the show back in 2007, and thought it would be short lived, and not very well written, because it was on ABC Family.

Never doubt an ABC family show! This show surprised me in the best way possible. Not only is the show well written, story lines are realistic, funny, and enjoyable. I was expecting a lot of talk about relationships, something like "this guy dated that girl who dumped me for that kid... etc." But this show is anything but! The characters are appealing and you really feel a connection between them all. There is a lot of chemistry between the actors, and they can really make you feel like the stuff is happening right before your eyes.

Don't doubt this show, it is truly enjoyable to watch... and get hooked on ;)

When I first heard about "Greek," I figured I would watch it because it sounded ridiculous. Another of ABC Family's so-bad-they're-almost-good shows. But tuning in with a friend from college found us both enjoying the pilot episode a lot more than we had expected.

As a member of a Greek society, I can say that a lot of the stereotypes that are brought up here are ones that come up almost every time someone starts talking about the sororities and fraternities on a campus. And are also very fun to play with just on are own, let alone to watch on a TV screen. The opening scene harkened to an only-slightly-dramatized version of preparing for an actual formal rush in some sororities and it continued on from there.

This isn't a show for over-sensitive Greeks. If you get offended even at jokes about things that aren't-so-great about Greek life, then you'll spend the entire first episode, and probably many other, cringing and yelling. But everyone else should have a ton of fun watching it. It's nothing new, but when it comes to college, nothing ever is.

This show is everything you would want in a TV Show. From drama to comedy, Greek proves that it still holds relevancy today. From having a polar-opposite roommate to balancing school and relationships, Greek displays these issues with relevant consequences and lessons that any person from ages 18-30 should learn.

As a individual that is not a fan of the Greek system in real life, this show has given me a greater respect for Greek Life as a whole. Wonderful show and truly hope they will do a reboot/sequel with this cast. It's already been 10 years :)

So when I first saw commercials for Greek I did have a few questions to how they were going to approach Greek life, if they were going to give away sacred frat and sorority secrets, if they were going to focus on the brother and sisterhood a fraternity or sorority brings, or what most college kids think of Greek life as a huge party.

Luckily, it covered everything. The story plot was great, it gave you a character to love, hate, someone you want to be like, someone you don't want to be like, and of course a crazy roommate!

It was one of my first looks at what writers believed Greek life to be like, and I can honestly say they hit the nail pretty dead on.

I love how one of the biggest things they covered throughout the season was the relationship between Rusty and his crazy roommate. Its hard enough moving away from home, and being forced to live in a small room with someone you don't even know, then come to find out.. you have nothing in common. Probably every college bound freshmens worst nightmare.

Rustys sister Casey was pretty much the typical girl on campus EVERYONE is jealous of. What didn't she have? Oh thats right.. Evan all to herself. Rebecca and Evan had an "affair" early into the season, which made you feel fairly sympathetic for Casey. Her character evolved, and her relationship with Rusty became more and more loving and outgoing.

Cappie is one of the most fun loving characters, and absolutely insane. One of my favorite episodes included him getting completely trashed at a strip club, and Rusty having to call Casey to bail them out. I like how they addressed the issue of gay people in Greek houses, Calvin was a very real feeling character, and I really respected him because he stuck to his standards. So Jen K was fairly crazy, but she actually liked Rusty. It was surprising and I continued to question her from the start, but of course, I did want it to work out between her and Rusty.

I am definitely looking forward to the return of Greek. It takes you into the truth of Greek life, something that a lot of people look past. One of the biggest things that frats and sororities are known for is parties and drinking. Greek is a great show, and the characters are easy to relate to.

So I watch the pilot...... and I bust out laughing the whole time. Why? Because I'm an honor's engineering student rooming in an honor's engineering hall, who decided to pledge into frat life in order to live a real college experience. And....... they did a number on this show. From the awkward first night of rush in shirt and tie, to trying your first drink, to being overwhelmed by the new parties, to house life, to crazy intramural competitions between frats, to philanthropy events, to crazy adventures with your brothers at the strip club and doing pledge projects........ it all felt like the real deal. Haha maybe its because thats what I went through but, even if the events didn't actually happen the exact same way in the show as they did for me, the show gets the feeling perfectly. You wanna know how Greek life feels? Watch this show. Its a feeling of brotherhood(or sisterhood) and growth and worry and stress and craziness. This is college, and this is Greek life, and even if you think the show seems to exaggerate it; its realer than you think. And its more amazing than you could imagine.

It was the perfect mix of comedy and drama, and surprisingly good for whom it was intended to. Characters were never too annoying or condescending to the audience. The writing was more or less realistic, never stereotypical or trying to get you to think a certain way. Granted, some couples got on my nerves, and the way other characters were ruined/written off, left a lot to desire. But the flaws can easily be overlooked. To me it was like a series version of teen comedies, like American Pie. And obviously, the soundtrack rocked. Though no CD was released, which was a huge dealbreaker for me. I remember enjoying most of the series, except maybe the shortened finale season. But I remember it with found memories.

I must say I thought the show Greek would be really ridiculous and stupid. Since I am part of a sorority I didn't want them to make Greek organizations look bad....

but I think Greek is hilarious. Yes, they do have the stereotypical sorority and fraternity but it's not mocking but just cute humor.

All the characters are pretty likable minus Rebecca Logan (I just can't stand her), Casey and Rusty have good chemistry as brother and sister. Then there is Cappie. Who doesn't love a guy like Cappie haha His character brings so much to the show. Rusty's room mate, Dale played by Clark Duke, is hilarious as well.

It's definitely fun to watch so tune in for season 2. I can't wait till it is back on!!

Freshman Rusty Cartwright is in university honors engineering. His roommate is religious Dale Kettlewell. He tries to pledge to top fraternity ΩΧΔ which has Evan Chambers as the president. He makes a friend with secretly gay pledge Calvin Owen. His sister Casey is Evan's dissatisfied girlfriend. Casey is a driven popular sorority girl of ZBZ. Her best friend is the sweet Ashleigh Howard and her big sister is the manipulative sorority president Frannie Morgan. She is still in love with Cappie, the hard-partying president of the black sheep frat KTΓ. Rusty ends up picking KTΓ and he is nicknamed Spitter. Rebecca Logan is a sought after pledge as a senator's daughter.

This show starts off as if it centers on Rusty but it becomes obvious that Casey is actually the center of the show. Everybody has their roles and their screen time. The most important side character turns out to be Frannie Morgan. Every soap opera needs a good villain and she's a great one. The problem is that she's written out after two seasons and the show is canceled after another season and a half. A soap opera without a top-notched three dimensional villain is not quite as much fun.

I'm not a big TV person... but when I saw the premier episode of Greek, I couldn't wait until next week! I don't miss the show for NOTHING!

THANK GOD for DVR! LOL I'm in love with Cappie... he acts like a bad boy, but he is so sweet... Everybody has their own character so, we have pretty much all types of people. You could still throw in a Hispanic and a chubby persons.

I didn't go to school in USA, so, I never liked the idea of frat houses and stuff like that, so, when my husband told me about the show I didn't pay attention, until he asked me to watch it and since I didn't have noting better to do, I agreed. I laughed SO hard the first night that I just needed to keep watching it.

So.. i'm with the other people that voted for this show to continue on! I will hope for a second, third and who knows how many more episodes! Its a really good show, very funny and entertaining!

I like the show. But I don't feel it portrays accurate Greek like. Im glad they are not giving out Greek secrets but in my experience at a Big Ten School, first sorority girls cant have a house more hten like 7 girls in a house is condsidered a brothel here, second pledges would NEVER live in the house like Rebecca is, third pledging is generally 1 semester not the whole year. The relationships are very plausible as well as how Casey treats Rebecca. Being Rebecca is a senators daughter a national sorority would go after her for the prestige and possible funding from a high profile pledge/sister. Also the relationship between Casey and Franny would be real as well. Being sisters but not friends. Its like we don't choose our family concept. Lastly a lot of fraternitys are friends with each other and allow their pledges/brothers to be friends same with sororitys. Other then minor things this show is entertaining and a good way to reach and older teen/college type audience.

At first I enjoyed watching this show. As a Greek myself - from one of the premier party schools in the US - I could relate to a lot of the material and enjoyed the gags.

Where the series loses me is with the repeat of themes from one season to the next and/or the movement of a theme from one character to another.

How many times do we need to deal with Casey's ping pong love life? How many times do we need to deal with Evan being a jerk? How many times do we need to be pulled into gay story lines? Not to mention the moronic adventures of Rusty and the hot woman who either blow him off or that he blows off. Its sad, funny, and ironic when he ends up with Dana the little stalking troll rather than Catherine. Made me want to gag.

In summary - what was initially funny and fresh has morphed into a soap opera by season 5.

This show is absolutely fantastic. It provides all the great drama and romance of teen shows like The OC and Dawsons, but it's a whole lot funnier. It's a show with morals and values, without everything being sugar coated and sanitised (ala 7th Heaven.) We don't have sororities or fraternities in Australia, and our university system is completely different, so I have no idea how accurately Greek life is portrayed. But I don't care! Because this show is my new favourite! Any writer that can make me love a racist, homophobe confederate flag-waving Bible basher must be genius.

And Cappie is my new Pacey. Sorry Josh Jackson, you've been dethroned!

I was surprised to enjoy this show as much as I have. I remember watching an episode once about 4 years ago and thought it was pretty good but never caught another episode and then I stumbled upon it 2 months ago on Netflix and decided to see it all the way through.

Greek is not just good writing for an ABC FAMILY show, it is actually good writing for any show. The characters are believable, the actors playing the characters work, and the stories are involving. Sure, it's not LOST or Grey's Anatomy, and the situations are much smaller, and like sitcoms of yesterday, there is a lesson to be learned at the end of every episode though the show plays more like a serial.

What surprised me most about this show though is how well the characters themselves were written and how well they interacted with each other. The audience can truly feel like their growing up with the college kids of CRU.

And this is not another high school/college drama of hook-ups and out of control relationships. The relationships in this show feel much more real. And there is a rooting interest for these relationships and friendships to move forward.

The Series Finale does leave you wanting to know more of what happens after college for these kids and sure would hope ABC FAMILY is working on a reunion movie of sort because it would be nice the future of these kids.

All said, this is a show I would recommend. I'm 32 yet I enjoyed this series and I think if you give it a try, you might get hooked as well.

Off this weekend and found this show. This was NOT a complete depiction of sororities and fraternities in America, not even close. Not to mention, not all are 'Greek', many very popular ones do not use the Greek alphabet. Most of the groups like the ones depicted in the episode I watched are now copying MANY traditions of the D9, like strolling and African step-dancing, but this show doesn't seem to address. The most affluent, and powerful blacks are often in the D9, I married a Delta and my brother-in-law is a Que--that is where most of the black politicians get their money to campaign--from these organizations. They helped finance a large portion of the Civil Rights Movement and buried many casualties of the movement that were too poor for a proper funeral.

Nope, it was too incomplete to watch beyond one episode--I skimmed a few others and then by reading the reviews, I knew the 'other' Greeks were not featured in any storylines. In America, there are Latino, Christian, Engineering Social Fraternities, and Asian groups created as a result of not being welcomed in the preexisting ones--but the black system was the first big one to form around the early 1900s. And to the foreigners watching, trust me when I tell you, REAL Greeks like the ones parodied here do not remotely have anywhere near that many POC as members--they were never welcomed which is why they had to create their own, and those that try to pledge even today end up leaving the group because they are treated so very differently. Many of these groups dress up in black face during Halloween, make derogatory remarks about Jewish frats, etc. Very inauthentic show, no wonder I'd never heard of it until today browsing this site while bored. I guess Spike Lee's movie School Daze remains the only somewhat accurate display of the other Greek systems, oh, and some episodes of A Different World featured black Greek storylines. Oh well.

Remember watching this in my younger days. I didn't have the picturess college life with parties and a buzzing social life but this was a way for me to see what that life was like. This show was enjoyable to watch and had a good mix of cast members. A few of the male cast were pretty good in their roles.

I absolutely love this show! I didn't start watching this until the entire series was put on Netflix, and now I'm on the last season and I'm so upset that it ended because this show is awesome. I started watching this when I couldn't sleep one night and was looking for something kind-of-interesting-but-not-too-interesting to watch until I got tired. I ended up spending the entire night watching episode after episode. In the first episode, Casey and Ashleigh seem like very stereotypical, catty, judgmental girls. As time goes on, however, their characters really do develop. You begin to understand their personalities and love them and cheer them on. This show is funny and full of heart. 10/10 definitely recommend!

I watched the pilot episode for this one with high expectations, having just graduated college and moved on to "real life". I was not in a fraternity, but a lot of my best buddies were, and I got to partake in a lot of the partying that they did in their house, so I know what goes on to some extent.

This show is obviously a dramatization, not a documentary in any way of Greek life, or college life for that matter, although it does hold a lot of truth, albeit exaggerated for the most part. If you watch the show for the value it contains as a TV show, and nothing more, it is very entertaining, much like movies such as Old School, Porky's, Animal House, etc. If you watch it expecting it to chronicle all of your experiences in your own college life, you will probably either be left wanting more, or mad that they over-dramatize a lot of events.

I really was surprised about how much I loved this show. I watched all the seasons on netflix and found myself finished with the whole series in just a few weeks. This show centers around Greek life at college. It's funny and heart-warming. If you are looking for a show that is not too serious or deep then this is perfect. It's lighthearted and entertaining. I LOVED the character Cappie. He had such a love for life and the love story with him and Casey is really sweet and endearing. I also really liked Rusty. He reminded me of an old college friend. I was sad when I finished the series and found myself wishing I had not watched it so fast. If you are in need of some relaxing entertainment that will make you smile each time you watch then definitely give Greek a chance.

I am so excited that Greek is back! This season looks really eventful. Im glad that Casey is trying to get serious about school but is still involved in the sorority. Its really funny that she wants to go into politics & that they're highlighting her 'scheming talent.' I loved Calvin's new haircut! It makes him look more mature. They should shave Cappy's head, as well. All the guys are hot but Calvin is definitely the hottest! I cant wait to see more of him! I'm especially interested in what happens between Calvin, Adam, & Rusty! I also love Rebecca. She's really pretty. I actually think that Rebecca & Calvin should hook up. go for it, Calvin! Join my team!

First of all I wasn't being melodramatic when I said it's a perfect TV series because it's beyond that word. The casts are so rad and the flow of the story is smooth. They all played their role pretty well and I'm just so in love. This is the only TV series I could watch all over and over and over without getting tired of it. The ending is satisfying and the flow is satisfying. It's perfect and too good to be true that I want to just forget about the real world for a while and live with this
