The story clearly stands above every other aspect of the film. The characters were well developed and had a real human quality to them. I'm a story fanatic, so a good story always get my attention. Other than that, the film shows great potential. The way it was done and everything. As far as visuals, there were some very nice shots which show great creativity and dedication; combined with the acting, it was overall a good movie. It was a good film, especially for being the first feature film of the director. I'd say he should keep it up, as well as the leading actors. I'd definitely like to see more of their work in the upcoming years

How exactly does a film show potential? it is either good, bad or indifferent. A film cannot grow, it cannot evolve, it cannot "show potential"

We (the collective people) need to petition IMDb to have a vote system where we can vote off obvious shill reviews, reviews that are done by participants or promoters of the film being reviewed.

I am SO SICK of college project films being heralded as the next "Citizen Kane" or as in this instance.. having "potential".

I hope no one ever paid to see this movie in a theater. By all measurements, this has to be the absolute worst movie I have seen in my life both from a technical standpoint as well as (bad) acting and the (uneven)story line. The sound quality is terrible, the music isn't synchronized, the camera angles are childish, even the color is poor. Scenes fade to black at numerous points although they don't even punctuate the story properly. You can't empathize with any of the characters. There is no suspense, although this is called a "thriller." This film is so childishly done, it is not worth watching. I rented this from Netflix and every single viewer rated it ONE, although several said it should have been rated ZERO. Do not waste your time.

I'm even going to use correct spelling so that this gets by the word check police program...which made me angry enough in the past to just scrap my efforts, good as they may have been... ;-) how does a film show potential? how about reading between the literal lines to the core of what this person is TRYing to say??? that it was well done ENOUGH to show that this filmmaker might do a REAL good film sometime in the future... I can't believe I would have to spell this out for you, but there it is...But i think you already understood this and just needed to take your legitimate gripe to the press. Good gripe, most likely, wrong person... AlTHOUGH, I(and there's an emphasis on this last word) would like to second your feelings about 'schills'...people OBviously connected to the movie in some way that give it an unwarranted good review... but it's not as if IMDb can or WILL start guessing as to whom these people are... so I guess this'll just turn out to be an exercise in venting our griefs for BOTH of us...
