I love Josh Flagg. I'm only on season 7, but love the glimpse into the million dollar lifestyle. I wish Josh Altman would leave the show, he's terrible, I often fast forward when he's on. I'm glad Chad left,I wish Altman would, too.
Waaaay back in 1980 i spent an entire month in the lower level bedroom (first of four storeys) of a hollywood hills estate. Just off sunset plaza drive. Full size pool out back on the level portion of the lot, along with a pool house. Orange trees, flowering bushes, snails, all exotic to my young Pac Nor West eyes. Had helped a friend in a serious jam, and his uncle (real uncle) invited the two of us down for an extended holiday. Could not swim in the pool as the uncle wanted it and surrounding areas kept dry and spotless, for those in "the industry". They visited after answering an ad in some hollywood movie industry weekly, regarding a script reading and then were given a sales pitch for representation. Couple actors he represented made brief B Movie careers. Honest, not making it up. Remember it well even after all these years. It is a heck of an area. Hollywood hills and all the surrounding ritzy enclaves that MDLLA sells. Have driven through 2 or 3 times since while on so cal sightseeing trips. Regarding this show (six hundred characters met, yikes?) i had no idea how much i would miss james and david. This season is still better than most if not all other similar shows, because they still focus on Real Estate. But it is just not as good as past seasons. Inbred comes to mind, as i do not have a big vocabulary. Need the palate cleanser that another agent or two could provide. And james and david did that and more. IF i could afford to buy where they sell, i would absolutely 100% trust the Agents in this show to find my new home (Flagg especially). That's why this show is the OG, and still worth a watch.
I get what everyone is saying but at the end of the day, it's a TV show. If it were regular, normal people and homes, it would be HGTV and probably boring. It's beautiful homes that we would never otherwise get to see with some "reality" TV mixed in, yet not at the immature level most are, but enough to be entertaining. I happen to love the show.
For anyone who appreciates beautiful homes or is aspiring to become a real estate mogul, this show is for you. There might be a person or two that will get on your nerves but the ones you love will make up for it. The show only gets better after season 6. I definitely think everyone should give it a shot.
I only watch the show for the beautiful large houses, but I keep the entire thing on mute. The people in this show are your stereotypical Los Angeles/Hollywood self-absorbed people. The people in this show are not just self-absorbed, but immature and absolutely way too dramatic. They remind me of the Kardashians and that's not a good comparison to have. The only reason I still watch this show is because of the gorgeous houses.
