A Comedy of Eros

After a difficult second season that left Lucy Lawless with a serious injury.

The finale is a lighthearted romp with the cast and crew happy to let their hair down.

Cupid's infant son is playing up and flies loose with a bow and some arrows.

The target is the inhabitants of a small village that has the Hestian virgins in the Temple of Hestia.

Xena and Gabrielle arrive to protect the virgins from the warlord Draco who intends to sell them.

However courtesy of the cheeky offspring of Cupid. Xena falls in love with Draco and tries to get him to mend his ways.

Gabrielle later as amorous feelings for Joxer who gallantly tries to rebuff her advances.

It's a frivolous knockabout episode. It even has a Scooby Doo type chase scene.

Sorry for whoever devised this foolish and unusual episode like this, it's an absolute lack of sense, a cupid's infant got a bow and arrow and fooling around making undue shots in some discrepant couples, it has if perceiving no appropriate subject to take it seriously for a closing second season whatsoever.

Then the present storyline became a playground for infantile entertainment, letting the silly audience awestruck sitting in front of TV-set looking around if it's really happening or it's a mere dream, what a mess, at least the jester Joxter had some fine moments at Gabrielle's arms!!
