Wild Frank Roosevelt

The Omni brings Bogg and Jeffrey to Hollywood in 1928 on the set of a movie studio where they interrupt the shooting of a movie. The only one who gives them any kind thought is star Bonnie Herseth whose career is about to sunset anyway because of her lisp.

The director of this film is one that has been dubbed Wild Frank Roosevelt, yes the same who is suppose to be running for Governor of New York that year and eventually become our 32nd president. He's had a career change.

After this plot runs along the lines of Dore Schary's play Sunrise At Campobello. And there's a happier alternative history for Bonnie Herseth as well.

This episode takes place in three different settings: Hollywood, California in 1928, Hyde Park, New York in 1924 and Hollywood, California in 1929.

Gaffes
In 1924, Franklin D. Roosevelt receives a letter from Al Smith requesting that Roosevelt officially nominate him as the presidential candidate at the Democratic National Convention. In reality, Smith was not the Democratic candidate in the 1924 presidential election but the 1928 election. Roosevelt gave the nominating speech at the 1928 Convention.
