Touching

A young boy is at home when his whistleblower mother is gunned down as she answers the door. A big energy firm has cost thousands of people money and pensions through shady dealings. The dead woman knew things and went public. The boy ends up with Alan because there is no place for him at the moment. He develops a close relationship with Don. This was a more accessible episode some nice moments in the family.
