Anecdotes
The infamous joke about the parrot with no feet shows up again. The joke is never heard in full, only the punchline about the parrot getting so excited he falls off his perch.

Gaffes
When Rocky got married, Lionel was talked out of telling a joke about a parrot with no feet by Jean and Rocky. Before Judith's wedding, Rocky tells the same joke to Mrs. Bale, who also doesn't care for it and after the wedding speech, Rocky thanks Lionel for telling the parrot joke.
