I was impressed with the way the filmmaker was able to do such a good short on such a small budget, and cram so much humor in his observations about government intrusion. Glad I saw it today!

All 3 sections are well acted and professionally shot. I was impressed with the night shot in the park- very sharp.

For such a small film, he picked good actors- many of them are very good at their line(s), with only one or two weak links. The first dissident is very good. The voice-over actor is superb. I can't say enough good things about this short film. Congratulations to the director!

Hope more people will check it out!

Laughed out loud

I'm not someone who normally laughs out loud a lot even when I find something funny. But this tickled my funny bone so much that I had to let it out.

We're the Government and You're Not gives the feel of an older propaganda film, with such a serious delivery that accentuates the absurdity of government intrusion into our lives. Actually, I probably am insulting it by saying it has the feel of an actual government film. The cinematography is far superior to any government film. The production quality is impressive. And the narrator is perfect.

I don't want to say much to give away the film. Both Democrats and Republicans will find certain aspects offensive, but since when is a film made not to offend? It's fun and packs a lot of enjoyment in a short amount of time.

Anecdotes
Courtney Haden, one of the greatest and kindest men I've ever known, helped with the sound editing, score, and voice acting for this film. He sadly passed away in very early 2017 and he will be missed.
