There's no way to sugarcoat a drop in nude visuals in 'W&W V'. After an uptick in the series with 'IV' it seems they've forgotten lessons learned. We gravitate back to scenes with too much setup, time wasted. There's still a good selection of Playmates & the steady camera work you expect from Playboy, but it's more frustrating than it should be at times.
Another intro that doubles as a legit scene with ladies (Tiffany Sloan, Corinna Harney, Leisa Sheridan, Wendy Hamilton, Angela Melini) at a waterpark. Quick shots of them sans bikinis, but more dressed (3.5 mins). "W&W Express I" has women (Wendy, Corinna, Rebecca Ferratti) walking along train tracks clothed before picking up a guy. They reach a water tower and unleash the wetness, but it's super quick. Before an actual train shows up and they board it to end things. All three are crazy hot, but this didn't cut it (7 mins).
"Baja Beauties" sees the ladies (Tiffany, Corinna, Christina Leardini, Kimberly Donley) in public before settling down for a photoshoot. Naked sights come in pleasurable fashion one after another, but you can't help but notice the first two minutes were a bigtime waste (4 mins). "Water Rites" sees an unknown lady in a cave boy/girl as part of an archeological theme. The visuals come slow & steady (4 mins). "Water Colors" sees the trio (Tiffany, Wendy, Angela) at a pool in different colored summer dresses that quickly gives away to nude each in a row solo. This is what the vid should be aiming for even if it is rather simple, a bit tame (3.5 mins).
"Afternoon Engagement" kicks off with another unknown lady getting out a limo with her dude, making out in the wilderness featuring a lite picnic element (2.5 mins). "Wild Cats" with ladies (Wendy, Leisa Sheridan, Jennifer Lavoie) goes for country rustic. Them getting out of jean shorts, tops, wet could have been the sole focus, but a bunch of wasted shots are intercut too (4.5 mins). "Wood Nymphs" has a lost dude come upon the mythical women in question (Samantha Dorman, Morgan Fox) as nude hallucinations. There's some fine sights as the guy gets to feel them up, do the typical simulated sex (4.5 mins).
"Back to Baja" is a return to an earlier scene, same bunch of ladies (Tiffany, Christina, Kimberly, Corinna). Mix of shots some of which are satisfying that is until it goes B&W at the beach to finish (3 mins). "Pools of Fire" naked from the start (Samantha, Morgan) as flames are put to use visually. Both of them look great and there's some good peeks (3.5 mins). "W&W Express II" caps things off with the same past ladies (Wendy Hamilton, Rebecca, Corinna) though it's all about energy, style now. They end up at a crowded club where dancing takes over and seeing them naked is not the focus. A blink or you'll miss it montage of them naked soaked from water above is all you get in this way too long scene that delivers very little (6.5 mins).
A second viewing of 'Wet & Wild V' found me not disliking it as much as before. Nice pieces at times and great Playmates like Wendy, Corina, Christina & Rebecca are onboard. However the overall vibe is meh. It gets off on a really sad note, the middle is hit 'n miss and the last scene is the worst. The final product feels merely average.
