Low Budget Bomb

Dull and used recycled footage. Elliot miscast as The King Of The Daredevils as he just was not believable, unlike George Hamilton who was. Sam lacked the energy and charisma to pull this one off and it is no secret no network wanted it so it went straight to File 13.

Anecdotes
Part of a 1970s cycle of works which were about stunt work and the stunt profession in filmmaking. In his book "Cult Movies 3", Danny Peary says in his piece on Le diable en boîte (1980) that "there had been a proliferation of theatrical and television films about stuntmen". Gaffes
As Evel is making his final jump, Darrell Pettet is in the booth overlooking the jump, with the controls to the explosives rigged to the ramp. The shots switch back and forth between Darrell in the doorway holding the controls, and Darrell's hand near the window overlooking the jump.
