Barbie : Fairytopia

This is a pretty great Barbie movie. The plot is well thought of, and I found it really interesting!

I LOVED this film as a kid! I revisited it just a few days ago, and, in some ways, it surprisingly holds up. The characters are fine, the animation is fine, everything is fine. However, I just felt like it was missing something. I feel like it's the most perfect kids movie, But I'm probably not gonna rewatch it for... 30,40 years?

What a great movie. Elina is one of the most relatable characters I've ever met. She is teased because she is different than the other fairies but has s friend who stand up for her. But she relizes later she has a gift to make a diffference. Overall good movie and love the message

The story is ok it's the little details that I love like the "rainbow in her eye" and the sparkles of the wings and the makeup. I also really loved the colorful theming of each fairy. I paid attention through the whole thing and laughed at Bibbles antics. I am rewatching all the barbie movies (all 45!) and this is one of the best ones so far. Weirdly I feel I remember it but I can't remember watching it as a kid when it came out.

My only caveat was barbies arms were FREAKISHLY long in some scenes and it was silly looking/weird. But other than that no complaints.

Anyways it would be enjoyable for kids and adults. My rating is closer to a 6.5/10 but gave it an optimistic 7 since you can't do halves.

The movie believe it or not was actually pretty good for a kids Barbie movie. My little sisters got it for Christmas and the movie was pretty good. It's not regularly I would watch Barbie movies but i don't mind watching this one occasionally. Me personally am not very in to Barbie but when i have to watch my little sisters i play with them. I'm not normally one for writing comments on movies but i guessed because i just watched it it would be okay to comment on it. Fairytopia is a movie that i guess i would take on a car trip considering we have normally one or two days to watch movies. I'm not one for watching little kids movies but i guess if you're stuck in the car for two days with two little toddlers it's okay to watch Barbie movies or little kid movies. When you think about it maybe you should appreciate that not all movies are filled with violence and swearing. Well i guess they still make good movies now a days, not that there are that many. It's not even safe for young children to be flicking through the channels at night. Well i guess that's when it's good to have appropriate movies to watch.
