Actor David Harris, perhaps best known for his role in The Warriors, has passed away. He was 75 years old.

The New York Times has broken the news that Harris died on Friday at his home in New York City. His daughter, Davina Harris, confirmed the news, sharing that her father died due to cancer. No additional details were revealed related to the actor's passing.

Born on June 18, 1949, Harris made his professional acting debut in the 19776 TV movie Judge Horton and the Scottsboro Boys. After following this up with roles in the TV film Secret Service and an episode of Kojack, Harris took on his first major feature film role in 1979's The Warriors. In the Walter Hill-helmed film, which is based on Sol Yurick's book of the same name, a group called The Warriors becomes pursued by rival factions after they're framed for the killing of a respected gang leader.

The great Denzel Washington has only starred in one Western movie during his illustrious acting career, Antoine Fuqua's 2016 version of The Magnificent Seven, a star-studded remake of the 1960 movie starring Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen. Of course, both films are inspired by legendary Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa's highly influential 1954 action movie Seven Samurai.

In translating the story from the East to the West, several differences between the Samurai film and the Western movie stand out, most notably regarding the accuracy of The Magnificent Seven's cinematic tropes and tenets set along the American frontier. Fortunately, Denzel Washington is such a magnetic draw that the glaring inaccuracies of the movie, cited by historian Michael Grauer via Business Insider, did harm the movie's success at the box office or on streaming.

Jason Statham's 2011 action thriller The Mechanic is a remake of a classic Charles Bronson film of the same name and is now one of the most popular movies on Netflix. The Mechanic remains one of Jason Statham's highest-rated movies of his celebrated career and one of Statham's most successful film franchises. Though his fatherly roles go back many years, Pedro Pascal has become his own kind of archetype when it comes to playing a dad in Hollywood. After making his big break as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones in 2014, Pascal has only continued to rise in fame more and more, which has placed many exciting opportunities before him. Following his debut as the Star Wars father and titular character of The Mandalorian, Din Djarin, most of these opportunities see Pascal playing a dad - usually, a single dad who's reluctantly agreed to protect someone.

While all of these dad roles that Pascal plays are quite different from one another, this list is ranked based on how good of a father these characters really are. It's worth noting that there are some dad roles Pascal previously played that aren't included, only because they are brief appearances made in network TV shows.

It wouldn't be a stretch to call Denzel Washington the Goat. He's one of our last working movie stars, a man that can get butts into movie theater seats without even lifting a finger. You'd be hard-pressed to find a bad performance from the actor either: whether it's a quiet courtroom drama, a zany thriller with a sci-fi edge, or an all-out action blockbuster, Washington is often the best part of any film he's in. That said, some of his films carry more rewatch value than others. "Malcolm X" is obviously Washington's greatest work, but the three-hour epic isn't the kind of story you're tuning into again and again.

Ironically, Washington's most rewatchable films might be the ones we take the most for granted. Some are formulaic revenge thrillers; others have become synonymous with Washington's brand. For one reason or another, though, they're the films we keep coming back to...

The New York City-born native who grew up in Putney and Bellows Falls, Vt, won Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars for David O. Russell’s The Fighter as Alice Ward, the matriarch to boxer Mickey Ward (Mark Wahlberg) and his drug-addled brother portrayed by Christian Bale (who also an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for the role). Yellowstone is expanding its horizons. After the first three seasons started airing on CBS last year, Season 5 Part 2 of the Paramount Network hit will be doing the same. Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 premieres Sunday, November 10 on Paramount Network. The first episode of the new season (its first new season in almost two years) will also air later that night on CBS, according to Variety. This showing will follow an episode of Tracker and preempt an episode of The Equalizer, but this won’t be a weekly occurrence. CBS has roped in a bonus broadcast airing of the the long-awaited “Yellowstone” return. The Eye network will air the premiere of Season 5’s part 2 — the show’s first original episode in nearly two years — on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 10 p.m. Et.

That reps a quick secondary broadcast window for the episode, which premieres on the Paramount Network earlier that evening at 8 p.m. Et. The CBS airing will preempt that night’s originally scheduled episode of “The Equalizer,” and will air following an episode of CBS’ hit “Tracker.”

In other parts of the globe, “Yellowstone” returns on Paramount+ in Canada on Nov. 10 and in the U.K. on Nov. 11. The show will be back on Paramount+ in Latin America, Brazil and France at a later date.

CBS viewers are no strangers to “Yellowstone,” of course, as the Eye network has previously aired repeats episodes from the hit series’ first three seasons.

“Inside Out 2” introduces several news emotions in Riley’s head, but it also welcomes back some familiar favorites from the first film. No matter your preference among them though, you’re going to recognize many of their voices.

Now 13 years old and getting ready to head into high school — without her best friends, as it turns out — Riley has officially hit puberty, and it’s unsurprisingly rough goings. It means dealing with Anxiety and Envy and Embarrassment, and Riley quickly loses her sense of self.

Though those emotions might be a headache for her, they’re fun for fans, especially considering who’s voicing them.
