If you want little in the way of a story and crave the standard mix of boobs and simulated sex scenes, 'Call Girl Wives' will satisfy. However I was expecting more from director Michael Whiteacre given the positive reviews. A cheap & quick flick with some bad acting made tolerable by decent nudity is the prescription here.

When their husbands go on a hunting trip, Amanda (Amanda Auclair aka Shyla Stylez), Taimie (Taimie Hannum) and Ashley (Ashley Long) decide to have a girls night. They have a threeway, but aren't fully satisfied. Realizing what's missing from their lives is "dick, dick, dick" soon they're banging dudes for money under a madam (Brittany Andrews) who runs a brothel and couldn't be happier.

There's no ambiguity - bare breasts in the opening credits - remind you why you came in the first place. Julie K Smith has a non-nude role, Kelle Marie shows up for a girl/girl. There's your stable of dream / shower / getting dressed scenes. Busty blonde Shyla hits the bathtub while each lady has a boy/girl. Shockingly Brittany Andrews never gets naked. That's pretty much 'Call Girl Wives' in a nutshell.

This movie has one of the best all girl scenes in it we have ever viewed. Tastfully done, and ranks somewhere between soft porn and full. This is my wife's favorite "get turned on scene" when the three stars go at it. Hope you enjoy too. The reason they named it Call Girl Wives. The almost plot takes backseat to the soft-core scenes. The girl scenes are amongst the best scenes I've seen on late-night TV. This is filmed and lighted very well and has outstandingly beautiful women in it. Director Micheal Whiteacre has done himself well and should receive awards.

This soft-core romp is without a doubt one of the best movies of its kind that I've seen in a good long while. The film's about 3 girlfriends (who have a lesbian thing going on between them, that is Hot with a capital H), Amanda, Taimie and Ashley (Amanda Auclair, Taimie Hanumm, and Ashley Long), whom bored with merely being housewives, decide to become call girls (hence the name of the movie). But really the plot, be what it may, takes backseat to the soft-core shenanigans. And this is this glorious films BOth bread AND butter. They were among the best scenes I've seen on late-night Cinemax in ages. Expertly filmed and lighted with VERY beautiful women. I had to stop the movie multiple times to expel my sheer pleasure with seeing this film. Kudos to all involved, not the least being Director Micheal Whiteacre, MAD props to you, my friend. And to top it all off the movie is actually pretty damn funny at times. So stop reading this and see this movie....NOW!!!

Have read that fans of this late night soft-core gem have been having a real tough time finding it on DVD. Unfortunately CGW was never released on DVD in the U.S., so count myself as lucky, that I made a VHS copy off Cinemax, using the highest quality recording speed. Then, later transferred the VHS recording to DVD. OK, I'll be honest, I only transferred the tasty 3 woman lesbian scene to DVD. It's simply, IMHO, the hottest, most erotic scene, not only in Call Girl Wives, but in any late night soft-core porn that's been shown on cable.

With the restrictions that soft-core must operate under, it is extremely difficult to shoot a scene that succeeds at both actually being erotic and also at avoiding the look of phony, simulated sex. I think this classic all woman 3-way scene goes a long way toward reaching both goals. For one thing, the plentiful amount of French kissing between these sexy ladies is obviously not simulated. Most red-blooded American males, as well as many actual lesbians, no doubt, will really enjoy seeing all the shots of the ladies licking each others tongues. Also, quite erotic, is the sight of the buxom Shyla Stylez seated between the other 2 ladies, as they both gently caress her naked breasts. Yes, this movie's director, and also the ladies of course, really deserve kudos for pulling off this classic example of erotica. And one other element really contributed to making this scene work, and that's the music that accompanies the on screen action. The music is never over powering or blaring, but for once in a sex scene, it actually complements the scene. In conclusion, I really agree with a critic who said that the 3-way lesbian scene in Call Girl Wives should be shown at the "soft-core college" to demonstrate how erotic scenes should be done. (If there actually was such a place.)
