the Movie start by Halim telling his story to a Reporter during that Halim Remembering his time when he was young . and just start singing and how was hard for the Crowed to accept him . for Me the movie was focusing more in how Halim wanted to be Big Singer !, it dose not Focus Much how halim Was truly Sensitive . Ahmmad Zaki who suppose to be Halim Mad the Movie looks Painful not because he was Bad Actor but because he was very ill, his Death was Matter of time and he died before the end of the Movie , what Helped that His Son Finished it . Ahmmad Zaki looked weak and made me feel sorry to See a Brilliant actor Finishing his acting life like this way. just set on Chair telling a Story most Halim Fans know it very well . we did not see him acting we just had to see him in few parts where he Hardly Could stand and sing but the rest he was in bed or seating in a Chair .. Halim was not in bed or in Chair all time , despite his illness but he was active like a bee . this Movie feels me it was done only for the Money not for Halim and Poor Zaki he Done it Because it was a dream Came true for him , he loved Halim and wanted to do this Movie for Him.

this movie is so touching....Ahmed Zaki (GOD bless his soul) is as great as ever despite the immense suffering he went through while shooting this movie... Haitham is talented but needs experience.. and i guess it's not fair to compare him to Ahmed Zaki.. because Ahmed Zaki is a miracle that can never be repeated... Sheriff Arafa did a marvelous effort in this movie and was so creative in his way of approaching the biography of Halim taking into consideration the circumstances of Ahmed Zaki's death... i never cried in a movie as i did in Halim..i cried for Halim and for Ahmed Zaki..they both lived the same misery and they both made our lives better and worth living with the beauty of their art and the greatness of their talent..Ahmed Zaki with his splendid movies and Halim with his romantic songs.... May GOD bless ur soul Ahmed a thousand times... u'll be forever in our hearts and minds.....cuz u weren't just an actor..u were a genius.... No matter what u'll remain forever the best actor the Arab world or even the whole world has ever seen.....

Ahmad Zaki this genius actor is proofing for us again that he was the best actor in the Arab world, he is genius, Miracle, great, when you watch him you will believe that he is Halim and no one else, in every single detail he was soooooooooooo touching soooooooooo romantic and he was real Halim, when you watch him, you feel that Abdel Halim Hafez is singing his famous songs Kareat El Fengan & Resalla Men taht el maa, the way he is talking and even the way he is walking is typical Abdel Halim Hafez but no one else, I have seen this movie for 6 times and each time I saw Abdel Halim ops... I mean Ahmad Zaki I discover something different than the previous time in the roll that he was playing. I can tell that this movie would be considered one of the most important films for the Egyptian Cinema. Thanks for Ahmad Zaki that he gives us before he dies another precious movie added to all his previous ones. Again and for ever he is genius... genius .... genius and no one can even compete with his ability in playing such a difficult role, he have a charisma that makes him attract you smoothly and because he is a mix between genius, miracle, smart and his love for acting he succeeded in making us loved him and believed him in his role that he played in this movie and all his previous ones. We missed him and no one will replace him, we all love you ya Ahmad...

If abdel halim was alive today. He would have been a very proud of Ahmed Zakis Peformance. Zaki brought so much emotion to the character of halim. And he did a great job telling halims story and capturing his character and his life.
