Facez of Death 2000

I saw the "Faces Of Death" series years ago. Some fake (I'm looking at you #3) and some real (Helloooo #2). After that came the "Inhumanities series. #1 was a bold-faced lie and #2 was the most honest of the lot. Then the "True Gore" series which showed what the news couldn't.

But THIS....

I found this in a recycle bin in Tokyo alongside Anime and Hollywood sequels. OK, OK, I bought thinking it would be a new entry into the shockumentary list. Boy was I wrong.

This is pure garbage from front to back. It isn't fake, but only a wannabe serial killer or a manic depressive would enjoy it. A running bunch of death scenes that if found in a family members collection, would warrant a call to the local shrink.

And in case you're worried. I unloaded it onto a dealer in Japan. It is NOT worth the effort.

I probably watched about 15 minutes of this tape before I shut it off, first I had to turn the music way down...the soundtrack was way too overwhelming with dead corpses...Its just a bunch of dead stuff with loud overwhelming music. No commentary, no explanation, just sick stuff. I enjoy reality and gore, but over an hour of just dead things with no explanations or commentary from the late 90s is just boring and sick. Like I said, this tape came in a VHS lot so I obviously checked it out.

It's not only crappy it's also really cheap and all you can do is laugh about those people who made this. (Although not about the things they show you) I was curious about it, because everybody talked about it and said how good and horrifying this is, but then when I watched nearly three scenes (Something 'bout a trucker, leprosy and something else) I had enough. It's a very cheap production (I mean, come on this music and this guy with the funny voice???), it's NOT FAKE like Faces of Death and it's just plain dumb. I mean, what's it good for? It's not thrilling, nor entertaining. Just really really sick.

The only reason somebody watches this could be: a) You don't have anything else to watch and want to try this crap b) You want to proof how brave you are to watch this, and brag in front of your friends c) You're stoned and think it's funny d) You're dumb and think it's funny e) You're a total sicko who get's off while watching this crap (And like to call it "beautiful" (And maybe end up doing a killing spree) So, if you're curious, watch it. But I tell you, as long as you're not a total dumb ass you won't like it. (So, I'd advice you to rent a really good Horror Movie instead. (You could also rent a bad one, it'll still be way better than America the Violent, even Flesh Eating Mothers is better than this.))

The cover e the alternitives titles are wrong. Facez of Death 2000 it's not the same "movie" that Faces of Death: The Millennium. The Millennium is a diferent production by Flatline.
