This program like most of its kind has become boring and repetitive .same stuff every year .you get a few true celebs but alot of wannabe celebs that noone really cares for. BBC charges a TV license to watch the same things over and over .the only good things on BBC are their exclusive dramas which are good , as for all this reality stuff , enough is enough BBC don't bore us anymore
I sit through this rubbish to keep my wife company whilst she watches it. I'd rather be anywhere else and I mean anywhere else. It is appalling and the judges are some of the worst examples of human beings ever to be on prime time TV. Plus this drivel is funded by the TV licence which makes it even worse.
The over-emotional and syrupy tributes by the dancers after they have got knocked out are so sugary that my diabetes has got worse.o The quivering lips and catches in the voice as they say how wonderful their partner has been is very staged. They always say how they will be friends for life and stay in touch. Lets go forward 10 years and see if that is tbe case. Also the thump..thump..thump of the clapping is very irritating as is the whoiping at the end of what can be quite basic routines. Very often some weaker dancers get 7 when a 4 would be more appropriate. Once a judge picks up on a couple of errors they should be marked dowm. Craig usually has the right idea...hit them where their ability deserves. The show is too formulaic and predictable these days...a rest would be a good idea. There is always one couple that go on a 'journey' ar the expense of much stronger dancers. Ps why are the dancers in the same costumes on Sunday after 24 hours? The judges and presenters have a change.
Strictly Come Dancing is by no means a bad show, it is quite fun and the celebrities participating really enjoy themselves but as a Saturday night TV show, I do feel it is taken far too seriously, judges can be quite harsh and often seem to forget it's just a light entertainment show (Len Goodman blaming the viewers for voting wrong for example). So too do some viewers, getting quite angry if their "favourite" is knocked out.
I loved Saturday night TV in the 1990s when I was a kid, it used to be just all about fun and didn't take itself seriously. If they made Strictly a bit more like that, then it would be a great Saturday night show.

this show is fantastic, for me it's the perfect Saturday Night show, a bit serious and loads of fun, music, creativity, talents, entertainments ans emotions.
the 11th series is going crazy, it's just awesome beyond description from the props, production, music, costumes, Makeup, Pro's, themes and fun, as will as genuine lovely people and creative hilarious new professionals.
Iveta was the best Pro of this series in terms of Creativity, imagination, and great choreography.
Kevin Clifton is making the Cliftons, Grimsby, the Whole UK nation proud with his difficult proper choreography and immense energy.
even the Long standing Brendan Cole found a partner whom pushed him to the limit with his Choreography, he's creating lovely pure dance routines this series.
I'm more in love with the show this year because from top to bottom it's mind to perfection, apart from Sir Bruce sadly who get's worse with time.
I never think that the wrong people being voted off, because it's a vote and everyone who puts hours and hours in training deserves to stay whatsoever specially because of the passion they deliver, there's no prize money or contracts or dreams might come true if they win, it's just done for the pure Joy and entertainment.
I envy every single person involved even the tea boy!
enough said That I am Happy all the way through, sometimes, laughing so hard that I might fall from the sofa, and enjoy this Magical world.
perfect Saturday night where I'll never say "my night was wasted" never !
