Avis à la une
"Decoys 2: Alien Seduction" is a good sequel of "Decoys", with a kind of teen-version of "Species". The story has flaws, but I like B-movies and "Decoys 2" has never disappointed me. On the contrary, this pleasant and entertaining film is underrated in IMDb. There are beautiful and sexy actresses, funny moments and good special effects, and I recommend this movie for fans of the genre, but I suggest the viewer to see first "Decoys" to understand this good sequel. My vote is seven.
Title (Brazil): "Decoys 2: Sedução Alienígena" ("Decoys 2: Alien Seduction")
Directed by Jeffery Scott Lando (Savage Island) made an lively sequel to the silly Original. Which the original was a fun knock-off to "Species" and since then, it has an cult following. Sevier and Poirier are back from the original. The new cast members in the sequel are fun to watch including Kaillin See as Stephanie (Who resembles of the actress "Rosemund Pike") and Tobin Bell from the "Saw Series" as a college professor.
DVD has an good anamorphic Widescreen (1.85:1) transfer and an clear sounding Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. DVD's only extras are previews from other movies. Special effects seems to be improvement over the original but the original film was more kinkier and sadly (Beautiful and Sexy) Poirier keeps her clothes on this time. There's a few gratuitous nudity in this but not as much. Still, this goofy Canadian B Movie is certainly fun to watch and there's a set-up for a possible third movie at the end. It's a pleasant dumb B Movie with the cast & crew members certainly had a lot of fun making this picture. Also it is better than the "Species" Sequels any day. (*** ½/*****).
Le saviez-vous
- AnecdotesKim Poirier had to temporarily stop hosting HypaSpace (2002) during January and February while filming her scenes for the movie so Jonathan Llyr took over hosting duties for her. She even hosted a special episode which was a behind-the-scenes look at the film.
- GaffesNear the end of the movie, in the morgue, Stephanie and Sam are sitting on the floor, with a wall behind them. Constance throws the syringe in their direction. Then, we see the syringe in the wall, close to the right side of Sam's head. Few moments after, when both are going to stand up, the syringe has disappeared. (Maybe they are sitting a little farther than previously).

Delia: Mine got overly excited. Then his vital functions ceased.
Jasmine: Mine was a police officer and I thought he was in decent shape. But, he didn't survive the temperature drop.
Constance Snowden: What about the bodies, did you dispose of them?
[Jasmine and Delia shake their heads in disagreement]
Constance Snowden: We can't have any distractions from the police. We got to hide those bodies.
[Jasmine and Delia both nod]
Constance Snowden: Look, Luke Callahan is the only one who survived, I'm watching him!
Delia: What is different about him?
Jasmine: Yeah, he seems really sensitive.
Constance Snowden: Well that's why he survived cos their body temperatures need to drop slowly.
Jasmine: And sensitive guys...
Constance Snowden: He was in love, so there's more romance, more foreplay.
Constance Snowden: There's a cold snap coming, make sure you do it outside and draw it out. We have to keep them alive as long as possible.
Delia: How do we do that?
Jasmine: These human males seem so eager.
[Delia nods]
Constance Snowden: Just use your imagination.
[They all smile]
