Timeblazers

Timeblazers is about two "spirit guides" named Sam and Jen that provide help to two kids named Shakira and Sam. The two guides help the children to find out about previous rulers and kings in all different times in history.

Timeblazers is interesting show that teaches the viewer all about different people and periods in history while managing to keep it all interesting. The added humor makes it quite entertaining to watch also. It's an excellent program for kids. While watching you don't even realize that you're actually watching a history lesson! I would recommend Timeblazers if you are in need of brushing up on your history knowledge.

Timeblazers is a show about Shakira who is helped by Sam & Jen to learn and understand why the world is the way it is today by going back in time and learning where it all begin. It teaches history in a a fun way and its really a great show.

I would advise people to avoid this show. I only saw it once and I don't have any desire to see it again.

Production of the show didn't make any sense to me. It described how bicycles were developed during the mid-1800's. To show this, the producers of the show had really goofy people portraying the actual people that were involved with the bike evolution; they were acting really moronic and, well, just plain goofy (for lack of a better word).

I don't see any point in making fun of these people, it took a lot of ingenuity to do what they did.

Also, these actors were shown in what was obviously some sort of 'Video Toaster' form of editing to give the appearance of being a Black & White film. Why?

It resembled something from the 1930's and 1940's, when talking films had just come of age. This show was produced in the 21st Century, and was showing it with mid-20th Century style imagery, but the subject matter dealt with information from 100 years prior to that. It didn't make any sense to me, why not just show it in color; I mean, people back then could see in color, right? They didn't see in Black & White.

And some of you may say that it's only a children's show; but what kind of message are we sending our children? That it's okay to laugh at older technology?

I would like to see how many people from this era (without any fore knowledge of how it was done) create some of the things that we take for granted in our society today.

I saw this TV show a few weeks ago, and I must say I really enjoyed it. It teaches a lot about History and makes it both funny and enjoyable to learn about. It's great for young kids who want to extend their knowledge and learn interesting facts that they can use about History. I like the way the two presenters dress up as the Historic figures and act like them, I always find this amusing. The two presenters also seem to work well together and use this to make both a funny and fun to watch show. A good one to watch if you are interested in this sort of stuff.

Some of the jokes can be a bit cheesy and predictable, but I find that this helps you to remember the facts. Also, something happens in modern day life in the show that sparks off all the Historic facts. For example if something happens to the child that they follow around, the two presenters will look through History for historic replicas of this scene. I enjoyed it!
