This is one of my favorite movies... my father passed away from Lou Gehrig's Disease last summer. I'm a huge ALS Advocate in the LA area, as well as around the entire world. I helped promote this film at the Cinequest film festival in San Jose. I thought Cinequest gave Anthony Scarpa (the director) and the cast horrible screening times. Although it didn't get the response it should have gotten, I definitely suggest to anyone who has not yet seen this film to watch it! I have seen this film about 6 times and it still brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. It's not a documentary but it's based on a true story. I want to thank Scarpa and the cast/crew for producing such a wonderful film! Kate you did a fabulous job playing the role of an ALS patient!Congrats to you all!
