Le voyeur de la plage

Renee Rea is the main reason to see this movie. She is stunning and the more of her that you see in this movie, the better it is. This movie says its a thriller, well not really, at least until the end and even then its not much. I liked the idea of this movie, a house totally wired to the internet so everything that goes on in the house can be seen on the internet. Still the movie does not do the plot a lot of justice. I give this movie a high rating and its all because of Renee Rea. Most of the other characters are fairly lame in this movie and you really just want them to get off the screen as quickly as possible. Take this plot, throw a lot of money into it and a good script writer, and this would be a heck of a movie.

Apparently there is a more unrated version of this film titled Voyeur Beach with more added minutes of several explicit soft core scenes. However the original standard version Watchful Eye still does include several glimpses scenes of skin. The plot regarding a new undercover woman staying in a beach house wired without any of the main women knowing. Renee Rea is the clear standout here while the other women's acting wasn't as polished nor were there characters interesting. The plot is quite standard and predictable all the way through but still quite enjoyable. The men look quite similar which may be confusing at first but as you continue watching you'll see the differences. Simply a skin film to pass time.

Voyeur Beach is the unrated version of Watchful Eye. It contains more scenes than the "R" rated movie. Sure it's still softcore, but Voyeur Beach does have some full frontal nudity, and if you like Renee Rea (Fast Lane to Vegas/Malibu) she's one of the sexy women in this film. The movie is basically about this house on the beach where couples are being watched as they have sex. There's some suspense at the end but not enough to make it a major thriller. So if you're into movies like Digital Sex, or any of those "Cinemax-type" late night movies you may want this one. So get VOYEUR BEACH on Amazon, runs 90 min 30 sec, more sex scenes. You will need a region free DVD player, the DVD is REGION 3. Most of the US releases have been edited, including the so-called UNRATED versions!

I'm glad to see that women like Renee Rea occasionally make it into the soft core sex film market. Renee has a girl-next-door kind of appeal, with a cute face and a refreshingly NATURAL body, free of silicone enhancements. The other women in the film are good-looking too, but they're all overshadowed without a doubt by Renee; you just want to see more of her. The film itself is rather amateurish and drawn-out. I can appreciate its attempt to tell a crime story between the sex scenes, but it could have it all wrapped up in about 70 minutes, instead of 90. And for a movie set around a California beach house, it is surprisingly cloudy! *1/2 out of 4.

No pun intended - I had no idea this was an edited version - there is enough nudity in it I reckon ... but on the other hand, the love making scenes were quite short - and it seems that length may matter after all (I had to). This version is shorter, so if you are after the story only ... well I reckon this one is the movie to watch. But everyone else .. I do assume that Voyeur beach has a site of its own.

Oblivious characters ... but not a deeper ... message (massage on the other hand ... ok let's not go there). This was a filler movie for to get to a milestone ... review wise. The next one will be ... well a movie I have quite fond memories of ... and it will be good .. not even close comparison wise .... with this one right here ... even the unrated version would not help it .. a lot.
