I remember watching FTV on Saturday mornings. I think my favorite character was Ramone with the big pompadour hair.

One of my favorite skits was Mark McCollum as John Denver singing "Sunshine on my Shoulder". Well when they pull the camera back, sunshine is on his shoulder: it's the heavyset guy in a sun suit sitting on his shoulder!

Loved it. They would interpret the songs exactly how they sound.

You know videos rarely went with the storyline of the song. Is it possible to find clips or even DVD's of this great show?

Why does a comment have to be 10 lines long? That's stupid.

I was pretty young when I watched this show - around 10 or 11. I remember them making fun of music videos, and I remember they had segments where they dressed up as the Smurfs. One skit I remember was to the song "Our House" with the line: "Our house, in the middle of our street..." The skit was the Smurfs living in their little mushroom house. The house was in the middle of a busy street and kept getting knocked around by traffic. The Smurfs inside were getting thrown all around. I think in the end the house was flattened by a truck.

I also remember a skit to "Hot Child in the City" where a fat kid was just sitting on a stoop sweating buckets. I seem to remember a skit to "Safety Dance" involving construction workers on a high rise building.

At age 10, I thought this show was funny. Hard to say what I'd think 20 years later.

I'll give it an 8. Some memorable moments, but if I watched it, it would probably not stand up to memory. I don't remember many of the actors except John Paragon as Ramon Estaca. John, of course, was notable as Jambi from Pee Wee's playhouse. I remember there was one parody of Tina Turner called Tina Turn-On and she would do a weather report and say how things were "hot" like Tina sings in Better Be Good to Me. It's a shame things like this will never be released on DVD.

I seem to remember Buzz Belmondo (more well know from Out Of This World) hosting this show even though neither this page or Buzz's page mention it.

I also only remember two sketches/videos: "Rockin Robin". Where Robin and Batman where beating up bad guys. Then Robin started beating up Batman. I remember it was done in the style of the 60s Adam West show, as the was on in reruns at the time.

The other bit I remember was ZZ Top's song "Legs". There where two or three models with long ZZ Top like beards on their legs. After the song it cut back to Buzz who pulled a clump of hair off his chest and threw it off stage saying "Hey ZZ Girls, you got a bald spot!"

I'd Love to find some clips (or full episodes) somewhere so I could rewatch it.
