Great movie

As a big Candice Bergen fan i was looking forward to see this movie. And i wasn´t disappointed, this was a very interesting movie. It´s the kind of movie that you don´t know how it´s gonna end until the last minute, and you don´t trust anyone. Candice Bergen´s performance was amazing and so was Bug Hall´s and Bryan Brown´s. I hope this movie comes out on VHS or DVD but in the mean time I recommend anyone who likes suspense to catch this one on tv.

Great suspense filled atmospheric thriller

This is a great suspense filled atmospheric thriller, that has all elements to make a great movie. Great acting, great story, great locations and keeps you on edge of your seat til end with a surprise ending. I liked it so much I bought it on dvd. Highly recommended.

Another chapter with similar verses.

Tense drama of life imitating art. A popular suspense novelist(Candice Bergen)with a myriad of phobias is terrorized when a couple of strangers appear at her isolated beach house. Murder is the theme and it takes big time nerve and little savvy to survive. Bryan Brown as well as Bergen are tremendous and believable. Also in the cast are Bug Hall and Michael Murphy. Very good for a made-for-TV movie. Kudos to Christopher Franke for the mood setting musical background.

Pretty Good

I thought this movie was really good especially considering that there were only about 4 main characters in the entire movie. I really wanted to see this movie because of Bug Hall. Who by the way was totally HOT in this movie. I think he's a really good actor and is totally underrated. The guy who played Eddie did a pretty good job too. In all this movie could have been better, as most movies could, but it's not a bad way to spend 2 hours. Very entertaining.

Not great, even not for a tv-movie.

Footsteps is made for television. It's a tv-movie and it shows. Not that all tv-movies are bad, far from that, but this one just is. The story is just boring, the movie contains a lot of scenes where you roll your eyes, the kind of scenes where bad decisions are so obvious they become annoying to watch and bring down the quality of a story. The cast wasn't awful, just average. Candice Bergen should stick with Murphy Brown, that suits her more.
