When Jyoti returns home to make arrangements for her wedding, Ram realises that he has feelings for her. He attends her wedding, but it is subsequently cancelled due to the interference of Ram's friend. This allows Ram the opportunity to marry Jyoti. However, Jyoti was reluctant to accept this new relationship, as she was determined to follow her father's wishes and arrange a marriage. Upon returning to Chennai, Jyoti disregarded Ram's attempts to regain their connection. Disappointed by Ram's actions, Jyoti felt angry towards him. When Ram's mother fell ill, Ram tried to persuade Jyoti to accompany him to visit her. However, Jyoti rebuffed this offer. Subsequently, Ram's mother passed away, which left Jyoti distraught and caused her to reevaluate her feelings for Ram. Upon returning to Chennai, Jyoti was eager to reciprocate Ram's affection and commitment. However, Ram had already devised a different plan. He had contacted Jyoti's former fiancé to assume responsibility for her well-being.
The narrative and direction proved engaging, and the performances of the cast were praiseworthy, particularly that of Jayaram, who displayed a commendable balance between comedic and serious scenes, thus demonstrating his acting prowess. The musical scores were also noteworthy, and the film is highly recommended for repeat watching.
