Nude modeling is a young woman's game, but a woman can certainly still look good and be sexy in her 40's. I think that's what Playboy was trying to say with this one-off title. I don't disagree, but I wonder how popular this video was. My educated guess is it wasn't hence why 'Fabulous Forties' never became a running series.
"Jolina Mitchell" (42) has a lite boy/girl with a younger man that's not particularly hot and her casually talking over the scene brings down the arousal (6 mins). "Jerilyn Walter" (40) does some gardening topless before fully nude and puts water over her body. Then nude sunbathing, a little food play and hops in a pool with some nice eye candy in the mix (5 mins). "Claudia Gallion" (42) tries on lingerie and gets naked on a bed / chair. Puts an ice cube over her body near the end, but doesn't always look comfortable being nude (5 mins).
"Jacqui Landrum" (49) is a dancer so you get to watch Jacqui and her husband dance where she only appears topless during it briefly (3.5 mins). "Lillian Muller" (43) was PMOTY 1976 and partially strips in a classical scene before a transition to her in different clothes. It stays pretty tame (5.5 mins). "Carol Cook" (45) works construction so her scene is a boy/girl fantasy that bounces from solo teasing to them together briefly (4 mins). "Susan Brink, Jan Steele & Roxanne Miller" have quick solos in the same format. They get naked on vintage cars at a vintage movie drive-in. Susan (40) rubs her body in lingerie. Jan (47) strips from a dress. Roxanne (40) has a nude picnic (5.5 mins total).
"Patricia Marquis" (46) says her daughter had posed for Playboy (they show the pictorial) and initially she disapproved until she saw the pics. Given the opportunity to appear nude for this video she wanted her daughter involved. The mother has to deliver one cringe line, but we get a pretty nice combo here. Both of them gorgeous black beauties and my favorite segment by far (4.5 mins). "Victoria" (42) is the lady on the cover who gets hot & bothered on the phone as the setting changes and she's shown partially or fully nude. The line about older women and fine wine gets used (6 mins).
Playboy could have followed up 'Fabulous Forties' with a sequel. They just needed to make small adjustments in better visual choices (more nudity) and older woman proud to show off their bodies. I'm giving this a gracious grade for a decent segment and a few moments of goodness, but mostly in support of its theme.
