Avis à la une
The film Swapna Lokathe Balabhaskaran, directed by Rajasenan, is classified as a cinematic work belonging to the romantic comedy thriller drama genres.
The film's narrative focuses on Balabhaskaran, a young man who exhibits a tendency to walk in his sleep. Hailing from an affluent background, he is approached by numerous women seeking financial and material benefits from him. Despite his benevolence and generous disposition, his parents are concerned about his tendency to walk in his sleep and have arranged for him to marry. They met a girl named Chandrika, a well-educated woman, and arranged for Balabhaskaran to marry her. Post-marriage, the couple experienced contentment. However, a few days later, Balabhaskaran suffered an accident while walking in his sleep, resulting in a critical condition. He confided in Chandrika about his romantic involvements, and she was taken aback by this revelation. Remarkably, Balabhaskaran survived. However, a rift developed between the couple, with Chandrika realising Balabhaskaran's negative traits. This caused him great emotional distress, and he sought to understand the reasons behind his misfortune and the mistakes he had made in the past. It transpired that his friend had been the one responsible for the attempted murder and had sought to extort money from him. Ultimately, Chandrika accepted his confessions.
The narrative was of mediocre quality and lacked direction, with the performances, though satisfactory, not being consistent across the entire cast. The musical scores were adequate, but not particularly memorable. The film is not recommended for a one time watching.
