trendsetter of early 2000s. Made R Madhavan's career

A different run of the mill love story. I first watched this movie in the fall of 2002 and was impressed by the trendsetter action scenes and storylines. The movie cast in stone the career of madhavan and director Lingusamy and set the the tone of the rest of the movies which followed after.

Amazing that a director like lingusamy who previous directional venture was that of a village based story could come up with a technical finesse that is unparalleled at the time.

Wow, Meera Jasmine

You wanna see action packed romance. Then here it is RUN. Well basically I think it was designed to be a romantic movie and then the director incorporated stunts into it making it more interesting.

Madhavan bags another one as he does his character amazingly wonderful. But I think he lacked the passion of a stunt hero like Vikram. He should have atleast put a false moustache Then I guess he would have looked more fiersome.

But the one person who amazed me above all is the new comer Meera Jasmine. Wow. Class Act. She stunned me with her amazing acting. The was she handled the emotions. Too bad she was dubbed. I think the originality was darkened by this voice change. Lone BAD MOVE.

Anyway the movie was good. Worth watching ,I guess.

Excellent Indian Action Movie

Run is a very entertaining South-Indian Action Movie. Madhavan's performance as an action hero is an absolute delight and underlines his status as an outstanding actor. In this movie his performance is equaled by Raghuvaran who's character somewhat reminded us of Ajay Devgan's role in the Hindi Movie Company. The BCoZ being based Switzerland certainly enjoyed the brilliantly shot scene for the song of Minsaram in Switzerland.

Seems to be fun

I saw this movie with a lot of anticipation as Madhavan was turning into a action star for the firsttime and god was he good ! Meera Jasmine was absolutly stunning and the songs are a major draw in chennai. the scene of madhavan's tranformation is one of the most loved ones this year. A good film for time pass with friends
