Avis à la une
As a child I loved this film. But as an adult; I am now noticing things in & about the characters in the film that just don't add up.. Someone or multiple someone's changed the ethnicity of one of the characters in the story from the 1st film to the 2nd.
The plot was good, also the story, but the acting, my god it sucked the ocean. It was very unrealistic and the script made no sense. All We heard was Cheetah this, Cheetah That. It had nothing to do the context. for example" The girl who was a foster kid crying to her friend about her life, feeling unwanted" I expected the friend to comfort her saying, its ok, It doesnt matter who you are, I still think you're special. but Her response was some load about being a cheetah girl from your heart, then some utterance in spanish ......
I think the movie is trying to hard to sound kool and sound like a diva. The acting looks too staged, to overdramatic and the names are wacked.... When I saw the preview I thought it would've been good... What A dissapointment. Anyone who says this movie is good,is either sipping on a yack or being paid to say so... my opinion.

This movie is totally unreal and would never happen. First of all, they don't sing well enough to get a recording contract. there are millions of girls out there that can sing five times better and don't even get noticed. Also, the phrases they use ("We need another Cheetah Momma in this jiggy jungle" etc.) are not phrases that real humans use. Really. Third of all, there is such created drama. Like, the girls are mad at each other for such insignifigant things! Also, when their just all singing around in the streets, it is so unreal! This whole movie is a bunch of unrealistic clips of "actresses" singing (and that created drama I mentioned before). And there's all this talk about race. Like, when Dorinda says that she is "shrimpy and white". Like, throughout the whole film she wishes she was African American! It's like, why? Shouldn't she proud that she can sing decently and know that the outside doesn't matter? Obviously not. And another thing is how there's that girl that is all "I'm that Porterican, Latino... that's who I am!" It was so much about race. Overall, it's an ok movie to watch if you're bored (or insane). It's not good enough to try to remember when it's on so you can see it. But if you're just watching Disney and it says it's about to come on, you should watch it. It's not terrible, it's pretty fun. But very, very lame.
I've read some of the comments on the cheetah girls movie, and I'm surprised at how hard the ADULTS have been on this movie. I'm 16 now, but this movie came out when I was 9 or 10. And all this talk about how unrealistic it was, is STUPID. Of course it's gonna be silly and unrealistic, but this is a CHILD'S MOVIE. Disney caters to ages 6-14, although at that time not many teens watched it so it was probably around 6-11 at the time. I LOVED the movie, and so did all of my friends. We didn't see these girls as rich (nor did we care) as some people have claimed, we didn't sit there contemplating the roles of the characters, and we didn't even think that no one would care about Toto being stuck in a hole at the end, because to us at that age, that was a plausible reason for the police and firefighters to come. Unrealistic? Maybe. But we were KIDS. We cared about Toto and the girls' friendship. Fame wasn't the moral to us, friendship was, at least, that's what I got out of it. So before you rate this like it's an adult/teen lifetime/feature film, think about it from the standpoint of who it was made for, the kids.
This movie was the best movie Raven has done. It has a great message for teenage girls and guys who think they have a chance in the music business. The Cheetah Girls can sing and they can dance. That is the perfect thing that makes success.

- AnecdotesThe song "Cinderella" was originally recorded by the group 'i5' and later covered by the Swedish group 'Play' before being covered in this film.
- GaffesMost of the "cheetah" prints worn by the girls are in fact leopard spots.
