Kannan(Suresh gopi) and Das(Lal) are childhood friends and both adopt a sister Devu(Kavya Madhavan). After struggling a lot both of them become successful businessmen but are usually living with their fist power. Shathrughan(Dileep) joins their company as manager. Kannan and das publicly embarrass a singer Sangeetha(Geethu mohandas) for not singing at their programme. When she is kicked out from her house, kannan and das give her shelter on the request of devu. Shathru comes to know that devu who was his love interest is his bosses sister and she is worried about her brothers ruffian lifestyle. Shathru understands that only getting them hitched will make them straight. Shathru comes to know that Meenakshi(Samyuktha Varma) is in love with kannan. Kannan too loves her but is avoiding her, one because she is the daughter of their enemy Devarajan(Spadikam George) and he fears that das would not like their relationship. Shathru strikes cupid in their love and also tries it for das and sangeetha. But sangeetha says to das that she loves kannan. Kannan introduces meenakshi to das and das begins to misunderstand meenakshi is in love with him. How all this confusion solves and the real partners unite is the rest of the film. Though Suresh gopi and lal are the protagonists its dileep who carries the whole film on its shoulders. He along with salim kumar bring the whole house down with their comedy. Many of its comedy scenes are having a cult following. Another highlight is the foot tapping songs of suresh peters. Film is also packed with action romance and emotions. Only drawback is its confusing story. But that is not an issue at all. Thenkashipattanam is a well packaged commercial entertainer which I love to rewatch.

Tenkasipatnam Saw this superb movie starring Vivek and Charlie. The other main characters were mere fillers. What a great comedy track! We had people of different age groups here and everyone had their bellies aching due to the high intensity laughing! Wonderful yet decent comedy throughout the movie. There are few sequences that really stood out... The Cow scene with Vivek and Charlie playing the head and tail of the cow respectively, were hilarious! One could not stop laughing watching the cow climb up the ladder, ride the bicycle, fend off a bull's arousing, etc. The simulation of the cow's belly, had our bellies really popping out! Awesome sequence. There were other nice comedy tracks throughout the movie, but this one stood out! What's new? I've never seen a movie where the main characters have been sidelined to this extent! Saratkumar, Napoleon, Devyani, Samyuktha, P.Vasu were all OK in their performances, but I don't think anyone noticed them.

Noticeable Comedy all the way. Vivek plays his role to perfection whether it is emotional scenes or comedy scenes. Charlie provides good backup.. but he has very often been used in a "loosu" role. The action sequence where Sarath carries Napoleon on his shoulders while he fights is funny.. perhaps its a part of comedy track too! Verdict Really worth watching again and again for comedy and to an extent the songs. The action sequences were too many but some were good
