Friday was Warner Brothers day, and we hit the broadcast press line bright and early. Obviously learning from Disney's mess the day before, they had everything running on time. They even got us out a bit early. While promoting Jonah Hex, Megan Fox got a little irritated with us for having our microphone to close to her face. And Josh Brolin didn't laugh when we said his new hairdo made him look like Mike Brady. Everything else was good, though. We also talked with the cast and crew of 9, which finally gave us the opportunity to talk with Tim Burton about Alice in Wonderland. Today, President Barack Obama hosts a rather unorthodox event at the White House. He will welcome embattled scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr., the Harvard professor who was arrested for disorderly conduct following an incident in his home. When Gates raised the idea that it was possible that his arresting officer, Sergeant James Crowley, may have been racially motivated (Gates is black, Crowley is white), the President commented on the case and seemed to draw the conclusion that it was indeed a case of racial profiling. He accused Crowley of "acting stupidly" when asked about the incident.

However, Obama later walked back his statements when he realized they were slightly more inflammatory than he initially intended. As a way of diffusing the situation, Crowley and Gates will meet with Obama today for a beer at the White House. The President will quaff a Bud Light, Gates will sip a Red Stripe...

In honor of the 40th anniversary of one of the Lamest Quotes Ever ("That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind, and one colossal argument for the need for a decent speechwriter"), I've compiled a list of my favorite moon songs. The criteria:

-- The song must mention "Moon" in the title.

-- I have to like it (so much for "Moonlight Drive," by The Doors).

-- It cannot use the words "June" or "spoon."
