Eurovision Song Contest Frankfurt 1957

For decades, this song contest held both the record of the longest and the shortest songs in all the history of the competition. Italy's "Corde Della Mia Chitarra" by Nunzio Gallo is 5:09 minutes of length, while United Kingdom's "All" by Patricia Bredin is 1:52 minutes of length. Ironically, both were performed one after the other. Italy's record remains and will forever remain unaltered, as since 1962 no song can be longer than three minutes under penalty of disqualification, while the record for the shortest short was only surpassed 58 years later in 2015 by Finland's song "Aina Mun Pitää" by Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät, which is 1:27 minutes of length, 31 seconds shorter than "All".
