Welcome to Eltingville

I just saw "Welcome to Eltingville" last night on Cartoon Network's AdultSwim.com. It is the funniest stuff this side of Robot Chicken the network has ever offered! Why they never picked it up is beyond me. I was so able to identify with this show because I was the same way those kids were in junior high. Now I can not only laugh at myself,I can also laugh at the others who still do this well into their 20s and 30s, and not be considered mean! It's a great play on the nerd stereotypes, such as knowledge of completely useless(to the rest of us) trivia facts, bootleg just about everything, and using outrageously trivial possessions as status symbols. A great salute to the guys who keep the comic book industry and the internet running!

I saw the pilot of this show on Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" last night, and I have to say that it has a lot of potential if it gets a shot at having a run of its own. It's a very funny show, and I think the characters are HILARIOUS (Especially Bill, and Josh)!! Willoughby (the dorky wannabe who's always getting injured) was a riot too. I hope this show gets a shot on a network, or Cartoon Network because this is worthy of having a run.

It Was A Great Show Just Like South Park & The Show Would Be On Comedy Central With The Same Voice Cast & They Would Have Crossover Episode Between South Park & Welcome To Eltingville Bill & Josh Fight Just Like Kyle & Cartman & They Hate Willoughby & They Hate Pip & That's Entertainment For Welcome To Eltingville & South Park & Cartman Stan Kenny & Kyle Would Have Their Own Club in South Park Just Josh Pete Jerry & Bill On Welcome To Eltingville & Kyle Cartman Would Have Trivia-Off For Darth Vader & Boba Fett & Han Solo & Luke Skywalker & The Would Watch Loony Tunes insead Of Xena On The TV .

Although only the premiere episode has aired as of June 2002 on "Cartoon Network," "Welcome to Eltingville" is an extremely well-drawn animated series with sarcastic, penetrating insight into the geek-world of comics, fantasy role-playing and sci-fi movies. The series' three lead male characters each represent an aspect of this world, and are perpetually hounded by a nerdy, even-more-geekier younger (hence, ignored) kid as well. The dialogue comes fast and furious, and is scathingly funny! Anyone into comics, sci-fi or fantasy will find enough inside-jokes and self-references to fill several hours' worth of research! More! More! More! (And the theme song is to die for!)

It was a good show because it was funny.

The animation was great and the characters were funny.

This is what The Big Bang Theory should have been. Its too late for success now.
