Avis à la une
The girl loves halloween, and dressing up. But this girl had more common sense than newer movies. She downloads a ghost and instead of being on computer it is in real life. She was so much more understanding of a random middle age man appearing in her room, and didnt scream and just connected he came from the internet. She also looks a little like wednesday adams with her round head.
The mother in this isn't annoying or overly mom like she gets to care about her kid but also wants a little bit of a voundry and has her own thoughts. I bet we couldn't make something like this currently, where theres not too many tropes besides bumbling theifs. They also didn't try to make the kid quirky but they made her only personality being someone who loves scary.

Tagline : Looking for a ghost?
Synopsis : While Stella is browsing on a Halloween site, she somehow transfers a ghost into real life. They work together on making sure the ghost gets his final wish and that Stella has the perfect haunted house this Halloween.
Story/Plot : This was a very well made family movie and I was pleasantly surprised. It had your typical story line with the outcast kid 9Stella) trying to fit in as much as possible while the popular gang stops her at every turn. The parents that don't understand, the bad guys who find out she knows what they are up to and the best friend that sticks by her until the very end.
Cast/Characters : No familiar faces to me but a job well done by all in the cast.
F/X : Not much call for the special effects but what we do see gets a thumbs up from me. Nothing to cheesy or hokey, enough to keep the adults entertained if watching this one with the kids.
Jekyll's Final Thoughts : I am not much of a watcher of family movies but I think this one was well done and it kept me entertained and laughing. it was a good change of pace and a neat way to bring "horror" to the kids. I recommend checking this one out for family movie night. This one gets a 3 star rating from me.

Ellen Page was kinda good in this I guess. The haunted house was very fun. I don't really think kids would like this though. It's very goofy and cartoonish even for a kids movie.

- GaffesWhen the family is at the dinner table, Stella's younger sister reaches for the mustard. She can't reach it and knocks it over, and goes back to her dinner. Throughout the scene, when the ghost is playing in the centerpiece, the mustard bottle can be seen sitting in it's former spot. As well, during one close-up of Stella during this scene, her sister can be seen using the mustard bottle. When the action goes back to the ghost in the center of the table, the bottle can again be seen sitting beside him (in its original spot)
