An eternally celebratable movie with a whirlwind performance of Mohanlal,the actor,making the viewers glued to their seats. One would wonder whether the anti-heroic type role perfected by Mohanlal is one of it's kind. So much was the fantastic portrayal of the character named Jayarajan with greed and lust often falling to arrogance and over confidence.

This film should be treated as landmark movie in Malayalam , because of 2 reasons. 1. The main character is not hero but anti hero. Viewers knows this , but not other character. This is a different kind of crime thriller, sure this will be a first of this kind in Malayalam 2. Mohanlal as an Actor has shown his acting skills which later we have seen in his movies

So I suggest all readers to watch this movie. Very well scripted and directed well. Will be a nice watch.

M.T delivered a beautiful script along with Sasi's direction, where the film doesn't need the scope of a hero. It is one man-centered movie was the audience doubts about he is a villain or a hero. Anyway, I can see the cunningness and sheer perseverance of human beings to acquire what he wants in life through Jayarajan. Jayarajan, a man who wants to become rich in the same way the man who wants to enjoy life. Everything he does is justifiable to him. He doesn't fell into a desperate mood, cause he knows what to do and he believes that everything is right. The movie goes along with Jayarajan. And somehow we feel that there is a Jayarajan in all of us. We all have that kind of feeling at some point in our life but we are hesitant to open up it because we are afraid to handle the situation. Anyway, the smile, the courage, and the simplices of Jayarajan were strong enough to develop the entire plot of the movie. Mohanlal at his best to portray that character with so much ease. Obviously it's the villain show.

This is a Malayalam language film starring Mohanlal as the villain!! And yet we mention his name alone both because the story is scripted around his character, and because he steals the show with his performance!

The film is a well scripted and directed crime-thriller created by the talented duo of MT Vasudevan Nair and IV Sasi respectively. The story is unique and yet contemporary - one I'm sure if even recreated today in any language will run well.

Every twist seems inevitable but also towards a goal - until luck runs out. Or only if - you wish to give in. To those who are not bound by anything or with nothing to lose, no fear or failure can reach. That is the stark message from the film!!

A must watch in my view.

An excellent plot which will keep you to the edge. This movie was many years ahead it's time experimenting with a relatively unusual theme of an anti hero at that time. Brilliant performance and action by all stars which makes its a good watch.
