A fantastic piece of documentary film-making

They really don't make them like this anymore - 'old fashioned' documentary techniques used to startling effect - no dramatic reconstructions, no emotionally over-wrought music - just people speaking for themselves, talking about their experiences, giving their views.

I found the film lacked quality images

for the first 5 minutes i hung on in there , it became more apparent that i was actually watching a document not a documentary as i had previously thought , it seemed to go on for an eternity like reading a telephone book , Guzman certainly knows how to make us cry at the right moments but I must say I found some the footage to cheesy and staged to soapy, his original work seems to have peaked ages ago , today it feels more pretentious.
