      Excellent movie

Excellent performances by each and every one. Rare to watch 3 of the best actors in a single film. Mohanlal was perfect in the villainous role, with some terrific revenge scenes. Mammootty got so many sentimental scenes and as usual he was perfect in those scenes. All credit goes to the script writer Padmarajan and director IV Sasi. Film was never boring with any scene and it had a good pace. Even though bharat gopi comes in less number of scenes, all those scenes were excellently portrayed. Music department handled by Syam was good and suitable for the story. After watching the film, one sadness was in the mind that the combination in this film will never be repeated. Casino, who produced some memorable movies, is not there, but the people behind it should start the company once again at least to promote such good movies.

Competitive Performance of Mohanlal and Mammotty

If u want to see a competitive acting between Mohanlal and Mammotty watch KarimpinPoovinakkare. This is a great movie happening in a village,Dialogues are that punch and Top Notch.Another Movie which shows the caliber of P Padmarajan.Padmarajans Story perfection can be seen in this movie,The movie develops slowly and when it reaches to its thread the movie becomes extremely thrilling and same is the case of Mohanalal.Mohanlal has nothing to do in the starting parts ,where Mamjmooty Dominates and when it comes to the main thread ,M0HANLAL Dominates all ,such a performance of Venegeance.Bharat Gopi also does a notable role as The ASAN of Mammoty,go watch KarimpinPoovinakkare feel the emani9ng of Revenge and Venegance and watch it for top notch dialogues,Perfect dialogues and classical acting from Mohanlal(Especially) and MAmmotty

      A brutal revenge drama

This is one thrilling revenge drama that would shock you at every turn and keep you at the edge of your seats. Credit for it goes to the superb storyline from the genius P Padmarajan.

This Malayalam film stars the greatest stars of the 70-80s viz. Bharat Gopi, Mammootty and Mohanlal. Mohanlal as the villain gets the toughest role and gives the most shocking scenes. Mammootty plays a realistic portrayal and shines as the hero.

The real film undoubtedly is the story where every character when cornered by a situation, chooses the extreme step without thinking through its far reaching consequences. Starting with Chandrika who blames an innocent for her pregnancy.. Who gets murdered by her brother due to her lie. Shivan kills his friend and mentor in rage - indeed blind rage - without even a thought of checking the facts first. And Bhadran in revenge kills Chandrika's husband later on and sells her off to a pimp along with her child. Each character ups the ante of brutality in revenge with no end in sight.

It's Shivan's genuine remorse that ends this cycle of retribution. Bringing Bhadran to his senses and saving Chandrika from her hellish circumstances - a pit she had dug for herself.

The film albeit brutal by the standards of the day is remarkable in its rich character and story development leading up the climax. Watch it!!

Brutal 1980s Mammookka and Lalettan Revenge Drama

This is a Brutal 1980s Mammookka and Lalettan Revenge Drama. We got another competitive Mammookka and Lalettan performance here. Mammookka appears at the start of the movie and Lalettan appears a couple scenes after that. They both did a superb job at acting out their characters in this movie. Mammookka as Shivan is spectacular but Lalettan as the antihero/villain Bhadran blew my mind. Lalettan's violent and vengeful personality as Bhadran is stunning. The actresses Seema and Urvashi did a splendid job also. Mammookka is definitely the best male hero for Seema. Lalu Alex and Kundara Johnny are easy to despise in this movie and that's how I feel. Lalettan's intro scene as Bhadran in this movie suited him as he was just being himself beating up Kundara Johnny as Kochappi. Urvashi as Chandri was splendid and so was Seema as Gauri. Manyianpilla Raju was splendid in his role as Bhadran's friend. The fight scenes were superb, especially all the Lalettan fights. I love how violently Lalettan beats up the villains. I love how Lalettan as Bhadran beat up Lalu Alex as Vasu during the scene where Vasu attempted to rape Gauri. Also, Lalettan as Bhadran was a villain himself throughout most of the movie. To be fair, Mammookka as Shivan killed Bharath Gopi as Chellannan who was Bhadran's elder brother. Chandri also lied about Chellan being responsible for her pregnancy when it was actually Thampi who was responsible for Chandri's pregnancy. Chandri shouldn't have lied to Shivan about Chellan. I get that she only had good intentions by lying but it's better to disappoint someone with the truth than to comfort them with a lie. She may have lied but she's not a bad person. Shivan was wrong to kill Chellan who was his best friend. Bhadran had every right to be angry with him. I can also understand his resentment towards Chandri and Thampi as they were partly responsible for Chellan's death. But that doesn't justify murdering Thampi and kidnapping Chandri. Chandri may have lied but Bhadran's actions were far worse. Not only did he murder Thampi but he also abducted Chandri. Bhadran is lucky that he wasn't found out by the police for Thampi's murder or Chandri's abduction. Shivan may have killed Chellan but at least he has a good heart and felt truly regretful for killing the latter. Captain Raju as Pappan is another villain as he's a pimp who runs a brothel. I don't blame Gauri for condemning him nor do I blame the mother for cursing him seconds before her death. Bhadran was a nasty and evil guy with an evil mind but he eventually became a good man. My least favorite scene in this movie was where Vasu stabbed Bhadran with the help of Kochappi. However, Shivan rescued him and I can understand why Bhadran yelled at him while laying in his hospital bed. I can also understand why Gauri angrily confronted him for his bitterness towards Shivan. But I do love the scene where Shivan beats up Vasu and Kochappi for attempting to rape Gauri again. I love when Bhadran turned into a good man and he even fought Pappan and his goons at the brothel to rescue Chandri. Pappan is huge and muscular but Bhadran with the help of Shivan fought him and his goons off. The ending was a fine choice as Bhadran died to defend Shivan.
