    Costume Design was OUTSTANDING

Whoever did the costume design deserves a ton of credit. Sheik, snappy, insightful, sexy. Fabulous. So this note, in part or in whole, is a testament to the costume designer. She should be praised and given that ton of credit. Costume designers, in my opinion, never get enough. I wish I could have given her more!

Very funny script. A lot of fun. I'll look from more from this pair.

Did a good job with a nonexistent budget. Which brings me back to whomever the costume designer was. Great work, and hope to see that more.

They never get enough credit, and I just want to say that they always deserve more.

Hilarious film. You must see this movie.

I was fortunate enough to see this movie while it was making its festival rounds. It is a period piece set in the 50's and done so well you feel like you are watching a health film from that era. At times the jokes are so funny and fast you may miss one while you're laughing at the last.

If you are easily offended, get over it and see this movie when you have the chance.

The Lou character is "everyman", whether we admit it or not. His isolation is something most people can relate to at one time or another, if not his particular affliction. The writers really knew what they were doing when they decided to have this movie take place in the 1950's when sensibilities saw Lou's behavior even more as a taboo.

A parody on those school educational films we all loved to hate...

"The Trouble With Lou" is not yet released in theaters but if it comes around please go see this comedy. I happened across it at the 2001 SXSW film festival in Austin, Texas. Truly original and funny. Lou is a fifties style school educational film about a fifties teen who has a "problem", thus the title.

The look of this film is truly amazing considering the low budget. It is set in the fifties, and filmed in black and white.

The story is truly funny. The actors are quite good and deliver very convincing performances considering the funny storyline (I won't spoil this). The narrator character played by non-actor Bart Kearns comes very close to stealing the movie away from the leads. His brief appearances in the film are quite memorable and extremley funny. For a guy who can't act Bart comes off very believable. Katheryn's performance is spot on as Lou's tormented love interest and shows quiet charm in the delivery of her lines. But of course this film is about Lou and Lou Romano pulls this roll off with skill. Teddy and Gregor's writing are witty and just downright funny. All the pieces are there for this to be a top rate comedy. They just need to be put together. As of this writing the film is still being finished.

The only real trouble with Lou is it aint out there for us to see.

one of the funniest movies i've seen

ok so it has a few rough spots due to a nonexistent budget - this is one of the funniest, cleverest, best written screenplays i've seen. i always mention it to people and hope it makes it out into the wide wide world soon so i can show it to them. i look forward to gregor and teddy's next ventures.

    Cast List Incomplete

A very funny movie not for the easily offended. Watch for the clever use of innuendo throughout the story. Also look for spoofs of classic scenes from classic movies.

I'm in at least five scenes and have lines. I play the leading lady's father, Huston Tulsey. I get screen credit in the final version, but am not in this list of cast members. I'm the straight man for a lot of the jokes.

Many of the cast and crew now work for PIXAR. A very creative group. If you listen carefully to recent PIXAR releases you may very well recognize Lou Romano's and Teddy Newton's voices or stay for the credits and see how many times the names of members of this film's cast and crew appear.
