Avis à la une
I'm not surprised at all to find that the director, Lorraine Senna Ferrara, was second assistant director on Somewhere in Time (1980). Unrelated as they are, both movies have the same kind of feeling. Girl movie, chick flick - it doesn't matter. This one really grabs you.
I did not see it from the beginning, and will be on the lookout for its being shown in the future. The girls are cute and hot, and my only complaint is that Hasselhoff is actually a terrible kisser on screen. Thank goodness the girls in the movie are better at it.
Finley and Roberts are great too. This is a keeper. Small movie made for TV, girl movie chick flick, but it's great. Highly recommended.

I love David Hasselhof. When i sit at home at night watching his movies over and over again stroking the posters on my wall with every available part of my body, I can't help wondering how he repeatedly manages to associate himself with such energetic and creatively original scripts. I couldn't see the ending of this one coming at all! It definitely did NOT make me want to physically injure myself just so i could experience something worse than the sickly sweet clichéd banality manifesting itself on screen!! I can sleep better at night knowing that if it weren't for the Hoff, modern cinema as we know it would be choking on its own creative vomit.
I really liked this movie because it was so romantic. Characters Mike and Dana meet during an accident. After they meet again, they fall in love, and discover they have a lot in common, despite the fact that they were engaged to other people who had nothing in common with them. Eventually, Mike and Dana and their fiancé(e)s amicably part ways, and then became an item even taking orphan, Corey in with them. David Hasselhoff and Terry Farrell were the best in this movie,as were the other cast members. I think they would have made a great couple in real life. I even hope this movie will come out in a DVD someday. This is a recommended movie for all true lovers.
Back in the day, like when THIS movie was directed and produced, well, the title says it all. I've seen it once so far and have never forgotten it. And frankly, I won't add spoilers. It was so refreshing to find a truly loving movie that isn't just filled with the same old sugary stuff ad nauseum...I have been waiting for years to SEE THIS AWESOME MOVIE AGAIN!
All I can say is: Don't miss this movie: you will not be disappointed. It is One True Feelgood.
I thought the film had the same kind of touching sentiments as the Hallmark movies. I wish I had a copy of it on tape. It was funny and heart-warming. If you get a chance to see it, it is definitely worth your time. I already emailed CBS and told them they should start putting their movies on video, starting with this one.
Le saviez-vous
- GaffesJust prior to the BMW crash, it is shown to be driving at a very slow speed (especially compared to the fire department truck), perhaps 10-15 MPH. From a speed of 20 MPH, the car would stop in about 20-30 feet once the brakes were applied. It would not slide the long distance shown and retain enough energy to go through the guard wires on the side of the road.
