Pleasant but mostly unremarkable.

This short film is rather unremarkable except for one small thing--it stars a very young June Allyson. However, you may not recognize her at first, as her hair is quite different and she's quite young.

The film begins with a nerdy guy coming to a girl's house (Allyson's) to pick her up for a date. She, however, is only concerned about one thing--a hunky(?) big band tenor (Lee Sullivan). Later, when he takes her out, they go where Sullivan is performing. In addition, a gangster's girl is also there--and her boyfriend is NOT happy about it. So what's going to happen next? See the short film and find out for yourself.

Overall, this is pleasant but not much more. The production values are fine and the story okay. My biggest complaint was Sullivan's voice--it was VERY high and although the women in this film loved it, it was definitely NOT easy on the ears. Worth seeing mostly to get a glimpse of Allyson.
