I realy enjoyed the indian version of "aladin'all actors performed their roles well.

I watched this movie when I was a child and loved every bit of it. It was fun, and best of all was Shammi Kapoor. It does not make much of a sense if you are an adult but believe me I was excited every time I saw it. It contains nearly every aspect of "Alif Laila" (thousand and one nights), and on big screen. It has a hero who has numerous problems, he is in love with a filthy rich girl, belongs to a rejected lowly class, has nothing to lose, is daring, cute (Rajesh Khanna) and jobless. The story contains a genie in a bottle, a damsel in distress, a villain boxer, poor mom and sister, a greedy father (this is Indian touch), a dev(evil genie), and an underworld.One cannot say that for other famous movies such as Disney's Aladin. If you are a kid who have heard stories of Genies and Ghouls, of Magic carpet and glorious heroes from your grandmother, you are bound to love it.

This movie directed by Shammi Kapoor is meant for the kids. It has Rajesh Khanna the Super Star who finds the genie in Shammi Kapoor and then hilarious situations arise. The movie is entertaining but lacks a strong screenplay and a purpose. The music by R D Burman is good and some songs are remembered still. Shammi Kapoor is a great actor but his skills as a director are yet to be established. Bundelbaaz may not have been a success but is worth a watch - the kids will enjoy it and so will the parents. A must see for the fans of Rajesh Khanna and Shammi Kapoor. The CD/DVDs of this film are available and is worth a watch and would keep one busy for 3 hours.
