Actually this was a very good movie produced by the national television of Bulgaria. Millions of people were in front of the screens to see the first episode and they were shocked when the action began with a cruel naked play with the participation of the cardinal heroes. A young man and a young woman trying to live (or leave) in our confused country. She is beautiful and smart, she has a child which she cannot see because rich and ugly people are his parents today. She needs money and she makes a lot of dirty things trying stay alive. She is even forced to prostitute today but she lives this way not because she wants and because of the time and the catastrophic economic state of the country. There are too many naked moments which make the series sometimes very scandalous and even unpleasant. She makes a dirty dance in front of a priest who is actually a homosexual... and a lot of other dirty things. But after the original shock in the society the usual people started to sanction the series because of its genuine vision for the sufferings of the people. But the power and personally the former prime minister didn't like the movie and campaigned against it in the papers which were corrupted and not objective, but loyal to their chieftain... This is a very true story about love, lies, cruel survival, sadness... Perfectly directed by the great Bulgarian director Andonov this movie transmuted into a phenomenon which will never be forgotten.

The Dunav Most series shows the reality in Bulgaria, the people's striving for better life and the way everyone tries to make it. The film was very criticized for it's naked scenes and rough story and script. The films is good (even if it's not very watchable from time to time) because it shows the truly picture of Bulgaria and the real bulgarians...
