The first series of Rock Profile was okay but I didn't bother watching it much unless there was absolutely nothing else on.
However, the second series is so funny with the the celebrity cameos and much funnier 'popfacts'(Geri Halliwell loves foreign food, infact she's even tried Vienetta).
Jamie Theakston is great at deadpan humour and Matt Lucas and David Walliams should become the male French and Saunders
My favourites are the 'Sir Elton John with his partner David Furnish' and the Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones episodes. More please

This is one of the greatest comedy shows ever. You have to look out for a few really special episodes like the Duran Duran Duran one and Blur one, but look out especially for the Happy Mondays one. It is the funniest thing ever, especially Bez's story about the complications with their record deal. In this one Bez has a keen interest in jazz and the theatre, whereas Shaun seems to enjoy playing scrabble. Shaun also uses language which is supposedly Mancunian, such as 'Hes the boomshakalak to the boomshakalak' and hes 'a sucky not a chewy'. Brilliant
this show is hilarious! Matt Lucas and David Walliams are superb at sending up famous pop acts, but giving each one a surreal twist. The Bee Gees and the Happy Mondays are my favourites, but they are all excellent. 'Hi, Bobby and Mike from 'The Fizz'here....you've been stealing our songs...see you in court!!!' Utterly inspired stuff!

This show is hilarious! I love Little Britain too but this is far more original i must say. I loved the Boy George and Marilyn rock profile, and the ABBA one. I love the 1999 and 2000 series. Its brilliant. Bucks Fizz one was genius. The Kylie and Dannii one was really funny! -Sure Dannii if you want to come to the studio to provide some hand claps or backing vocals, but i must warn you, the studio is very different than singing at home in front of the bedroom mirror. Yeah because when your in front of your bedroom mirror there isn't a special machine to change the pitch so your in tune- There is some really good catchphrases too. After watching this show i can see how the based some of the little Britain characters on rock profile like Marilyn - Sebastian Shirley Bassey - Bubbles Devere Boy George - Vicky Pollard Geri Halliwell - Majorie Daws
How quality is this show? Its the funniest show on TV. The Bee Gees were amazing but by far the funniest is U2. Bono can't do an Irish accent and spends his spare time "surfing the interweb" The Edge also surfs the web but only "to see all the nudey women and to play games". Fantastic!

Graham Coxon: I don't like television, too much colours and movement, it's too busy for me. Also, sometimes there's people on it and you don't know whether they're on television or if they're in a room with you but they're just small.
- Versions alternativesThe series was released on DVD with all the music video clips edited out.
