That other USA.

Probably the most approachable of the films of his that I had watched.

Its literally like road trip film as they traverse to LA from NYC. Cutting everyone now and then. But with our current technology, it feels like watching a long ass dashboard camera. It kinda loses a lot of the original intent of the film. Other than that, Loving You is very famous then I suppose. It played I think more than twice in the film. I do wonder if those were actually real radio recordings during the trip. 1974-75 period does lineup with the stories though.

Also, its kinda interesting to watch it after his other same named film in 2022. Its both about 'going around' the US - maybe thus the name. Its very different (especially how the other ended).

Interesting but not recommended.
