Captain America

I was starting to like this series then at the start of episode 4 they say Bucky is long dead. What? He was alive at the end of episode 3. Just like the Submariner series, it seems that every episode was written by a different person and none of them saw any other episodes. Despite it's flaws, this show is still the most accurate on screen depiction of Cap's origin until the newer movies.

About: The Deadly Boy Scout fighting against evil doers.

Theme Song: Nothing too special.

Story: Its okay. Cap battles the Skull. The generic world war story.

Production: Just like the rest of these its quality was great for the time. It's just too slow in modern time. The Children today would have a hard time sitting and watching thses.

Should you Watch?: If you're a Cap fan, then go ahead. To anyone else, Just shield yourself from thee.

A really interesting show, I was really happy to see the origins of all Marvel animated series, but honestly, this wasn't my favorite show! Not very easy to watch for me, but still a classic!

It would be pointless for me to do a long review of this show because I've already reviewed Marvel Superheroes, and my review of the blanket title will mostly suffice for this show. What makes this one very slightly different is that episodes cover not only Cap's solo series (both "present day" and World War II) but also the Avengers when he was leading Hawkeye, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch. Beyond that, the same unintentionally funny animation and sound effects as the rest of the original Marvel Superheroes line.

I like this series mostly because of my infatuation with it as a child. I would be so lucky; if this one came on, when I was a kid. The comics have also amazed me as a artist; all my life. This series is riddled with perilous scenes, one after another; always with the constant recurring theme of patriotism. I think it would be good for young people to watch to help them be more patriotic. I think if my dog was a real child he would like this show too. I like to sing him the theme song to him often. If you have seen the movies they will help you catch up quicker to what is going on. The color scheme is so old school it will take you back to the good old days when comics where your favorite thing in the world; to own. It will show up on the page as soon as they review it.
