Angrakshak is true to its word, and it is a good action movie with Sunny Deol as the hero. He has an interesting character, who fights to stand strong in life, and there is a major thrill in this film. How the hero exposes the real villains and takes them down himself makes this film all the worth watching. The action scenes are well done, and that is the USP of the movie. Sunny Deol excels in the action scenes and proves why he rocks! For those who like action and thrills and excitement, watch this movie. Angrakshak (Bodyguard) is an action thriller film starring Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The film is directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty.

A wealthy politician hires a bodyguard for his daughter. However, when she gets kidnapped and a dead body is found, the boduguard sets out to find the truth.

Initially the film started with Sunny Deol and Late Divya Bharti in the lead role but has to replace Divya Bharti due to her sudden untimely death and i must confess that Pooja Bhatt looked totally misfit in the film and looked very old for the role of a school going girl, this will prove thorn in the flesh for this film nevertheless lets continue with the review.

The plot of the film which was lifted from 1992 film Bodyguard has a decent execution and the best part of the film is it's length which is not too long. The screenplay of the film is fast paced and will keep you engaged throughout most of the film. The film does gets slow for a little while but will not break the rhythm.

Acting in the film is good and Sunny Deol did his best for what he is known for. Kulbhushan Kharbanda was very impressive. Pooja Bhatt looked little misfit and irritates in the first half. The support cast of Late Rami Reddy, late Saeed Jaffrey and Nasser also impresses.

The music of the film was good and songs like "Dil Mera Churane laga" and "Haule haule dil dole" were melodious. The funny dance steps of Sunny Deol in Dil Mera Chrane laga is the highlight of the song and the film. BGM is also good.

There is a twist in the film which gets revealed in the middle of the film but will not hamper the film viewing experience.

Overall the typical fans of Sunny Deol and lovers of action films will surely love this film for others a decent one time watch.
